Timing Of Posts

Hi! My name is Linda and I am new here. Trying to learn the basics. Are the moderators on this board in the US? I'm in the Eastern Time Zone and it seems no matter when I sign on, I have usually missed a posting for the rental of points (there are already numerous replies). Are the threads posted throughout the day or at certain times? Thanks for any insite you can give me.

I can't answer your question, but I'm EST too and I've noticed the same thing with posting to the point rentals/transfers board.

Most of our moderators are in the US--from all the time zones. We do have some from the UK also. I think the ones on the DVC boards are in the US.

I believe the posts on the DVC Rent board just go up whenever someone posts them. I think you can post over there asking for points, can't you?

If you have specific questions you can always PM the moderators over there for help. There is a list of the board moderators on the Main Forum page so you know who to contact. You should also be able to get their names from the sticky threads at the top of that board. Just click on their Username and a drop down box will appear with an option to send Private message.

We rented twice before buying into DVC and both times I posted a "reservation wanted" and got wonderful responses. As Lovetosrap suggested, you might want to give that a try.
