Timing from YC to MK

Quick question. Going in mid-January and staying at YC. Have 8:05 ressies at CP. Will have a rental car. Should we take the bus from YC to MK--if so, how long? Or should we drive car to TTC and take monorail?

We took the bus from the neighboring Swan to MK for an 8:15 CP reservation on a non-EE day. We were at the bus stop around 7:30 and it only took about 15 minutes to get to the park. We were able to take our time and get some pictures on the deserted Main Street. I would recommend taking the bus, so you don't have to hassle with parking, walking to and from your car, and catching the monorail.

Thanks Swilphil. We are also going on a non-EE day and assume that we will be getting out of CP right around the rope drop.

Why did you go to the Swan to catch the bus? Why not YC?

We were staying at the Swan. Sorry I should have clarified. I wrote "neighboring Swan" because I didn't know if you were aware that the Swan/Dolphin is right next to the Yacht Club. I imagine that the ride to the MK would be about the same. I heard the BC/YC now has their own bus and doesn't share with the other resorts.
