Timing from airport to resort?

Once you arrive at Orlando airport, about how much time before you arrive to your resort? We will be taking the magical express from the airport. Just trying to figure out how much time we will have in the parks our first day. TIA!

You can budget about 90 minutes from when you step off the plane until you're walking into your resort. That's assuming Disney is collecting your luggage. If you're collecting it yourself, add another 15 minutes.

I usually plan on 90 minutes. Sometimes I have been pleasantly surprised that it was quicker and once it was much longer.
I think 90 minutes is a good average.

We landed at about 3:10, got our own luggage and walked through the door of Saratoga Springs at 4:27. We were the first stop off of Magical Express

Every time I've collected my luggage at MCO, which is more often than not, it takes me at least 30 minutes. MCO has got to be the slowest with sending the luggage out on the carousel.

Last trip we had bad luck - 30 mins at the baggage carousel, first ones on the DME bus which meant another 35 minutes of sitting there waiting for people to trickle in, held up in rush hour traffic and then construction, two stops at resorts other than ours first. We got off the plane shortly before 5pm, and were at the check-in counter at about 7:20pm.
