Timing for Tusker House breakfast + lunch

I'm hoping to time my breakfast ADR at Tusker House so I'm there when they switch over to lunch items in order to try stuff from both menus. If breakfast ends at 10:55 and my ADR is for 10:45, do you think that'll work or should I try to get in earlier? I don't want them to have run out of breakfast stuff by the time I get checked in and seated.

The last breakfast reservation for Tusker House is 10:55am. However breakfast food is served until 11:30am. If they run out of some breakfast food, they will start to change over to some lunch options anytime from 11:15am onwards.

They don't really run out of too many things and if you want something in particular, usually you can ask the kitchen to make it fresh. The only time this isn't an option, is if they have entirely run out of something for that sitting.

If you have a 10:55am reservation, you may not be seated until 11:10am-11:15am. It depends on how busy it is as you have to check in and then wait to get your photo with Donald. Once you've done the photo, you will wait to be shown to your table.

If you are going to go with a late reservation, make sure you check in 15 minutes earlier so you should be seated a little earlier.

We just got back from our trip last night. We ate there last thursday. Had lunch reservations for 11:30am. They seated us at about 11:15-11:20... there was still most of the breakfast stuff, along w/lunch items. They were still serving the punch, which I adored!

Just try and check in as early as you can. Loved it! The character interaction was top notch, and not rushed at all.

We had a 10:40 ADR there a few weeks ago. Some of the food had already switched over to lunch (a bummer for me, I much prefer breakfast).

I'm wondering in the same thing. We're going at 8 for EMH and then to TH for a 10:30 reservation. I hope we can get breakfast and lunch items (different people in the family like different things). I'm also hoping that all the breakfast items aren't looking "tired" with us going when they are finishing up breakfast.

When we went at 10:40, they had started switching some of the sections over to lunch, but the breakfast food out was still fresh and being replenished.

Tusker House is a very busy restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Generally the food doesn't sit there long enough to get too cold and "tired" looking. Also, you can ask the kitchen to make you something fresh if it's too cold for you. If they don't have it on the buffet, always ask. We have had things made here for us several times and the staff are always amazing here. The only hiccup you might have is if they've run out entirely for that meal sitting.

It depends on how busy Tusker House has been. The official cross over from breakfast to lunch is 11:30am. The last breakfast reservation is from 10:55am. The first lunch reservation is 11am. In general, they won't start changing over to their lunch menu until 11:15am, however there had been many reports of it happening earlier. I'd say this depends if they've run out of certain breakfast selections and possibly how many reservations they have from 11am onwards.

It has been our tradition to do Tusker House of the last 3 years at 11AM. We have always got there before they switched over to lunch. Last year in fact we had been there for awhile and almost done before they had much lunch stuff out there and they checked us in right at 11AM. I don't think you will miss out on the breakfast stuff. We were there until noon thirty or so and they still had some breakfast stuff out. I was actually disappointed I had to wait so long for lunch stuff. I am not a big fan of breakfast foods. So my family was all eating long before I even went to get my food waiting on them to start putting lunch stuff out. I had to ask when they were going to switch and told the server I booked for lunch not breakfast, LOL

We just got back. We had a reservation for 10:30 at Tusker House. It worked out wonderfully. They had all the breakfast items out when we got there. While we were filling our plates, they started putting out lunch items. It was great to have the variety of breakfast and lunch items(and pay the breakfast price). The juice was great and everything we had was great. I did think the characters seemed a bit rushed. They would come by and get a photo with me and DD, but not with DH and DS. Other character meals we have had, the server has offered to take a picture of the 4 of us. Our server never offered this.

We did see great character interactions with younger kids...a little parade around the dining room and Daisy holding a little girls hand on her way to the restroom.

I made our Aug ADR for 11:15, for lunch. We'll probably have a quick snack or something before we leave the room (still trying to figure out what would work without making us too full to enjoy the buffet). We did the same thing last year, and they still had some breakfast items out. We definetly enjoyed our "brunch".

I am glad to hear that the character part of the experience is worth it. We are not only going for the food, but also for the interaction. Can't wait to go!

The buffet was good, but they were slow in brining out the lunch food after the breakfast food was gone. Plus it was my nephews birthday and he had his pin on and not one person at the Tusker House acknowledged his birthday. The food we had was pretty good though overall.

We had a 10:25 ADR there in October. When we arrived, there was a decent line waiting for photos with Donald. I didn't time it, but we got in, got breakfast, saw most of the characters. I went up to get more of something I had enjoyed and they had changed over to lunch. It would have been the perfect time if you wanted to try both.
