Timing for dinner and castle lighting?

We will be in MK on Saturday Dec 13th as of right now I have a dinner reservation at the Trails end Cafe in FW at 7pm. Not sure what time they will be lighting the castle? is it at dusk? I seem to remember it being around 6pm but that was a few years ago. Just wondering if I should change my dinner ADR or if it is at 6pm we could see the castle lighting then head out and catch the boat to FW.
Any thoughts?? no times are posted for it on my park times app?

Right after sunset which is around 6:15ish. Figure you'll want to get a place around 5:30 if it's a crowded night. It'll be done by 6:30 (per my photo timestamps )

That is an optimistic schedule. Castle lighting is typically in the 6:00p to 6:30p timeframe. I would back up the TE ADR about 30 minutes.

That it doesn't show up on any schedule should be no concern, it's unusual for it to. Be aware that Elsa has the castle-lighting honors this year.

Nah, they should be fine showing up just 15 minutes before--unless you're talking about being right there at the Castle Forecourt stage. It's not that hard to find a decent position (most anywhere around the Hub) to watch it.

Not sure what time they will be lighting the castle?

The last several years it has been at 6:15 PM for the entire Season.

Cinderella's Holiday Wish lasted approximately 7 minutes.

We will have to see if "Elsa's Holiday Wish" follows that pattern.

Steve Soares does have it listed for 6:15 PM at this time.
