Hi all. We are heading to BLT the second week in November (so pretty off-season). I would love to take my family up to the Top of the World Lounge to see the Wishes or better yet the Mickey's Very Merry fireworks. How long before the show should we head up to get a place? I would love to go as late as possible becuase my 1 and 3 year olds are pretty active (but I will go as early as necessary). Thanks in advance for any tips!

We were there last Nov (19-22) and the Lounge and Observation Deck was never crowded. You will want to allow enough time to get down to the first floor to the check-in desk. You may have to wait there a couple of minutes if they are escorting another party to the elevator.

Did you see the special fireworks for the Very Merry party? I am more than excited to see them from the lounge!

We were there in March and it was not very crowded. I like the lounge - the flatbreads are very good! There is plenty of room outside, along the wall to watch the fireworks. I have to agree with some of the other posters - it is nowhere near the same as viewing from Mainstreet. What was impressive was how far behind the castle the launch site is and how really HUGE those fireworks are. We watched the fireworks one night and one other night we just went up for a snack - it is a nice, uncrowded place after the fireworks.

Yep. We watched Holiday Wishes from the observation deck on two nights and then the regular Wishes one evening from our balcony.

We were there the last week of March for spring break. We went up about 15 minutes before Wishes. About 3/4 of the tables/ couches in the lounge were occupied. There was no one on the observation deck. By the time the fireworks started, there were maybe 20-25 people outside on the deck.
