Timing between wait list and reserving ME?

We are currently on a wait list for one resort with a for-sure reservation at another. Seeing as we're not sure yet where we'll be staying at that first night I haven't made our Magical Express reservations yet.

Now I think the wait list goes away at the 30 day mark and well be left with the for-sure room. Anyone know if I'll have enough time at the 30th day to make the ME ressie and still be able to get our luggage tags?

Anyone experience short term notice for ME and how did it work out with your luggage?

I made my DME reservation, for my Dec 6 arrival, last week, and got my DME packet on Monday. If you give them two weeks, they should be able to get the packet to you.
