Has anyone ever gone to a time share presentation to get free disney tickets? Is it worth it?

It would not be to me. I have heard too many horror stories from people about being treated very ugly in these presentations. If you do decide to do one keep in mind that you would be required to spend about 11/2 to 2 hours in the presentation to get the tickets. After that they are required to allow you to receive your tickets and leave. I would look for some other way to aquire tickets before I would ever go to one of these.

Some people do it. I wouldn't.
I'm on vacation to relax and really
wouldn't want to listen to a sales pitch and the related
pressure.

I called a 1-800 number today that advertisied a disney vacation too good to be true and it turned out to be one of those timeshare things and the tickets were for only 1park per day type things and just weren't worth it. So they weren't even equivalent to a park hopper.

I stayed at the vistana last year and it was a timeshare deal. The cost was incredible. We paid $110 per night for a two bedroom suite. We split it with my friends family and we saved a lot of money Plus we also got passes to a water park.
We are going next year and decided to stay on property but for the first part of out 2 week vacation we are staying at the sheraton safari for 4 nights plus 2 free disney passes and free breakfast for $199. How can you beat that? If it is a little inconvience of 90 minutes, you get a great rate, breakfast and 2 free disney tickets. why not?
