I know that you can trade into fairfield star island, but does any one know if you can trade into fairfield bonnet creek? It is not on their website but I thought maybe because it was new.

I have looked through the latest Intervale book and it is not listed. I believe that RCI members can get into Bonnet Creek. It looks beautiful!

Thank you. Well I guess I will just have to keep looking. The marriott properties are not available for when we want to go. I wonder if any of the disney properties will be available. We are renting through someone so we have to give him the information and then he calls interval. If not, I don't know which other properties are good.

The disney properties are very rare to come up on Interval. I know when I inquired about it once, the rep. said it is extremely rare for DVC to become available.

Hey, if I owned DVC I would rent my points before I traded them into II. I think that is what most owners do.

I was just able to trade our 1 bedroom Westgate for a 2 bedroom at Marriott Horizons. The first time I looked it was not available, and then when I looked 5 minutes later it was there. I grabbed it really quick :teeth: . Good luck!

My suggestion would be for your friend/relative to give you their Interval ID and password and then you can do the research through Interval's website (intervalworld). That's what we did and I could check our week each day to see what was available. The units available change minute by minute as the above poster indicated, so if you're internet obsessed like me it is nice to be able to check it throughout the day to see what becomes available.

Depends on when you want to go. I regularly see Disney properies on II; however, they are mostly studios or 1 BRs and they are generally Sept, Oct, Jan. In fact, I traded into Disney for this fall. 1 BR in Oct Saratoga Springs. The problem is many people do not like to trade their 2 or 3BR to get a Disney studio or 1BR. I trade with FF points, so I only have to give up points that are equivilent to a 1 BR. You can also have II do an ongoing search for you. This often helps for some of the more highly demanded properties.

I was just looking on a site that I can bid on bonnet creek. It said interval week floating, I wonder if it means that it could be and interval property.

Bonnet Creek is definately not associated with II (I own there). What that probably means is that the person does not have a firm reservation for the property in hand and is going to attempt to get the reservation you want once you win. Be careful and make sure before you bid that there is an actual reservation already made, because if there isn't, there are no guarantees you will get the week you want. Bonnet Creek does not have any fixed week interval owners. Everyone makes their reservations in advance for when they want to go so just like the DVC resorts, it is subject to availability.

We were lucky enough to grab a one bedroom at Old Key West last October on a bonus week for $250.00. Happened to be the same time we were planning to go anyway. We are going back in Feb at the Marriott Grande Vista. I have never seen any other Disney weeks on II, but check everyday, you never know.

Cypress Pointe is also nice - not as nice as a Marriott or DVC - but few things are.

Sheraton Vistana Resort is also now listed in II and is also close and nice.

these were with only RCI but a couple of years ago they also decided to go with II. So they are on both!
