Timeshare at Wyndham Palms Resort?

Anyone ever done this? It is only 35.00 a night if we do, how is the resort? We used to always stay at the Vistana Villages, but their price has gone way up from what we used to pay. Thanks for any input

I was wondering about this also.
I was planning on staying here in July and listening to thier presentation to get the lower rate. The website says the presentation lasts aprox 60-90 minutes, which is fine, I can handle that to get that discount, but I have heard horror stories from people saying at some timeshares, they actually last 3-5 hours.
I'm starting to get nervous - has anyone actually went to thier presentation?

learn the word "NO" and stick to it.

yes they can last a very long time - this is true of all timeshare presentation.

if you want a timeshare don't buy in Orlando - too easy to trade into for less than what you are now paying.

I brought a SA for $350, RCI for 6 year $350, plus the commission $250 - so for $950 I brought this timeshare - it maintence fees are less than $200 (probably $125) - I have already traded into Hilton Grand Vacation Club at Seaworld (2-bedroom) for this October to celebrate my mother's birthday and next year I am trading it for the Sheraton VIstana Resort for Thanksgiving also a 2-bedroom. Mind is a 1-bedroom in white season - not a good timeshare -but it trades great!

on the exchange fee is $129.

So this is a much better deal for me.
