times for remy dinner and length

I plan on booking Remy when my window opens up this weekend.....We are on a 4 night cruise......since I have no idea what dining rotation option will be or what night shows are I have no idea what to book.......we have a 7:00pm show time and 8:30 for normal dining.....we have 4 kids and are coming from california so we will be fine with later seating because of time change. anyway....wondering what time the dinners can be booked for Remy.....and how long the meal is? I would really like to check out all the dining rooms on cruse so I was thinking of going on later side...so we could do both.....curious as to what othhers have done who have already booked....

Are you Platinum or staying in a concierge suite?

We are Platinum so we get to book 120 days out.

Hours into the first day the best times were gone.

If you are Gold and log in very early the first day you can book at the 105 day mark you may still get a reservation if you are willing to take a remaining time slot.

Note: You MUST be paid in full.

Beyond that unless you are in a concierge suite I can’t imagine anyone would even get a reservation unless they get to the ship early to try to get one of the remaining slots that they will not allow advanced reservations.

Time = 2 - 2.5 hours total. Estimate based on Victoria & Albert's restaurant in Disney's Grand Floridian. No one has real world times yet.
Times = 6:40 - 8:30 (start times)



Online reservations are available at the following times:

Concierge Guests: 120 days in advance
Castaway Club Levels:
Platinum Castaways: 120 days in advance
Gold Castaways: 105 days in advance
Silver Castaways: 90 days in advance
First Time Cruiser: 75 days in advance

An additional charge of $75 per person is required to dine at Remy, in addition to the cost of wine and alcoholic beverages

I don't think anyone will know the length of a Remy dinner until after the initial sailings of the Dream, there's no equivalent on the Magic or Wonder except Palo, and depending on how fast you eat there dinner is usually just over an hour (if you eat slow and talk a lot, could take longer...)

Not necessarily true. Just the other day, at our 79 day mark, I checked to see if it would be possible to book either Remy or Palo. Both were still available with several options. I really think it just depends on the cruise.

My cruise is during the spring break time.....so I'm sure it will be hard to get....we are gold member......every cruise we have been in we have been in a suite....but the cruises were all 7-14 days.....didn't feel the cost was justified for a 4 day cruise.....kind of sucks.....our show time is 7 and reg dinner at 8:30.....i'm leaning towards the 2nd night.....but I guess I will see what come up.....

Hmmm. If that is true, I may cancel my Remy and just do Palo. I loved my V & A experience, but 3 or more hours is a LONG time to have dinner by oneself!

We are with you. 2 1/4 is about my limit.

We have reservations for Palo + Palo brunch for my significant others wishes + Remy.

I will be back here pre-cruise to read peoples experiences at Remy’s then decide if we are going to keep the reservation.

Excellent point. Even at 2 hours, no tables will turn over.

We were told dining begins at 6M and should expect 2 1/2 to 3 hrs. I believe the website says something similar also. I understand it will consist of 10 course of small portions (bites) accounting for the length of time.

"Dinner at Remy is a lavish and leisurely affair, starting with a signature chilled Champagne cocktail made tableside, followed by eight to nine small courses complemented by a stellar wine list." At around twenty minutes a course, I'm with the people estimating 2.5-3 hours (minimum).

A whole meal filled with Mise en places for $75.00? WOW.

I'm starting to be happy that even when I finally do book the Fantasy that Remy's will be out of our budget.

I believe it is 3-3.5 hours as well

we have a 7pm seating. Doesnt V&A have only 2 seatings? I suspect similar with Remy
