Times for Formal Pictures

Does anyone know what time they take formal pictures? We have early seating. Do they continue to take pictures once dinner has started? I am thinking we can go to dinner on time and place our order. Then we can step out and get our pictures done. I am hoping the line will be shorter once dinner has begun. Are the pictures taken close to where the restaurants are? I am trying to avoid standing in line with two young children. Thank you in advance for your help

Do you want a picture with a certain character or just your family dressed up? Also are you going on the wonder or magic? The line goes really quick as they don't allow autographs.

On the 7 night cruise we just did (12/6), the times listed were 5-6:30 PM, 7:30-8:45 PM, and 9:45-10:30 PM.

We are going on the Magic. We do not want pictures with the characters. We are mainly interested in just getting the formal picures of our family together. How long do most people wait on line. Thanks for all your help.

As we walked through the picture area that night there were several occasions where there was no wait. You should be fine.
