But seriously, something about this " 28 times " is not really jiving with me either... Now, I am in no way saying that this teacher is innocent. But, to be that specific and to issue a statement that it happened 28 times in this short timeframe????? Verified by whom???

And, then to say that she definitely did this, countered with the fact that she has not done it before ( 'the boy is the only victim' ). That also doesn't sit right with me. I mean, done it once, probably could have done it before, and/or would do it again. I ask again, verified by whom???

I am wondering if there is not more to this story?????

But give her credit for taking it to new heights!!!!! Pun aside, she is one sick "person". And she also let a 12 year old watch!!! Was she getting him in the queue too? When I was a 34 year old, I did not look at a 13 year old as a sex partner, but as a young kid.

This sort of thing has being going on since the beginning of schools I guess. I know it was happening when I was in school 100 years ago (ok, maybe 25 or 30) - there were three female teachers at my high school that were known to be involved with students and one security guard (male). Back then, the teacher just got transfered or fired or nothing. You didn't really hear about it in the news. Another ancient friend of mine was pursued by her assistant high school principal (he'd call her out of class to "talk", write her love notes, etc...) - her parents found out and had words with him, but nothing was ever done beyond that.

I think that the profession itself attracts these types. The majoriity of teachers are good people who want to help students learn but some of them choose the profession because they are more comfortable with teens than adults...they haven't matured enough themselves. I think it's these who prey on the young teens.

All of these reports of teachers having sex with students sickens me. These "women" are giving teachers a bad name when there are so few like those accused. Its even sadder that it is making some parents terrified to let their "little" boys go to school

OK went to the smoking gun site and in the article with the 2nd here link (which was dated 11/21 last year) it said she was teacher #3,496 arrested for inappropriate contact with a student that year.

Color me shocked!
I guess in my naive little world I assumed (or maybe just hoped) these kinds of stories were fairly rare occurances.
If there really were that many who were arrested - I don't even want to think about how often it happens without someone getting caught.

I was thinking that same thing. My oldest son will soon be 12. While he is not looking at girls "that" way, yet. He is more interested than he ever was before!!

These type of women make me sick! Makes no difference if it is a man molesting a child or a woman. They need to spend a lot of time behind bars!
