I'm taking my parents on their first cruise/trip to Disney in January
2004. We're doing the 4-night Disney cruise and my brother and his family will be joining us for that part of our trip. Since I'm the
designated trip planner for the family, I need your help.

Approximately, what time do you get through customs and out of the terminal?

For those that fly home the same day, what time do you schedule your flights for?

How long does it take to get to MCO?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ok, everbody MUST be off the ship by 9:00 am. They usually start letting people off the ship once it clear customs...around 7:30 or so. You can leave anytime after it clears customs.

Time in the terminal is minimal. Your bags will be in a color coded (by cabin numbers) area and are very easy to find. All you have to do is pick up your bags and go!!

As far as flight times, DCL recommends nothing earlier than 12:00 noon, but many people book earlier flights. I personally would not book anything earlier than 11:00 am.

On our July DCL cruise we were late getting into Port Canaveral with a medical emergency and were not let off the ship until 11:00 am. Many, Many people missed their early flights. To be safe, book something after 11:00 am. It only takes about an hour to get to the airport from the ship.
