We've been having network problems and I can't see if my earlier post went through, but I would feel terrible if I didn't add my warmest wishes for you and your wife to have a very magical trip!


3 DAYS !! WOW!!!

You really have touched a lot of our lives. Thanks for all the many special help you've given to so many of us. And thank you for sharing your excitement with all of us. You make me feel like a kid again.

Thank You So Much, after the past few days with what my family has gone through, we need this cruise more than ever now. I know that my "Ole Pal Mickey" is going to take good care of us, while we "ARE ON" this cruise!!!!!

I just can't wait for Friday morning to get here, so we can get on that plane and head south!!!!!

Will report when we return!!!!!

I feel your anticipation and oh so well can remember how I felt the last few days before our cruise. Everything was going around in my head a hundred miles an hour.

I remember being at the airport with our gang w/30+ pcs of luggage, strollers, diaper bags, etc. and my heart pounding w/ excitement. After 2 yrs of planning ~ all the Dis brd reading, notes, shopping, packing, excursions finalized, everything had come together full circle.

When I finally got on that plane and sat down it was like a big weight had been lifted off my shoulders and I felt like crying. All the hard work had paid off and we were finally on our way to our first family cruise, a trip of a lifetime with Mickey.

There is no other feeling when you are on deck, hear the horn blow, the ship sets sail and drifts to sea. You know then ~
all your problems w/ life 's daily hassles are left on shore and
you are going to have a week of Magic!

That is exactly how I have been feeling, I told my niece last night, that I will not be able to relax until we start pulling away from the dock at Port Canaveral, from that moment on, until we return the following Saturday, New Jersey and it's problems, do not exist!!!

Disney, take me away!!!!!

Port Canaveral, FL (AP) - Florida State Police and US Coast Guard are on the alert for a potential threat expected to hit the east coast of Florida on Saturday. Rumors of a man masquerading as a cruise ship captain have been circulating the internet for a few weeks now and authorities are concerned that this could be a possible terrorist threat or hijacking. Calling himself Captain Veranda, this mysterious stranger is subject to fits of uncontrollable glee and hysteria and has been known to commit random acts of kindness.

Sometime seen wearing nothing more than underpants, a cape and a fake captain's hat, Captain Veranda is a known shrimp thief and is suspected to have a partner, only known as "rae". His unusual name is attributed to a lifelong desire to occupy a stateroom with a balcony and seeks out cruise ships with only this type of accommodation. He is described as medium height, medium build, and dark hair and wears glasses. He is armed and has been caught challenging unsuspecting people to duels with pianos.

Police believe his target may be the Disney Magic, since he mistakenly believes he is the real captain. Authorities are concerned that once aboard the Magic, he will subject the 2,000 plus guests to excessive mirth and outrageous behavior. The Magic will be which sailing on Saturday with a seven-day itinerary with stops in St. Martin, St. Thomas and Disney's own island in the Bahamas. Once onboard the ship, local authorities will be helpless to stop this man. People who spot anyone matching this description are urged to contact the authorities immediately and are warned not to approach the suspect, unless armed with a Bahama Mama or a Conch Cooler.
