Time to rent a stroller?

When should we rent a stroller? We have 2 preschoolers and I know they will be too tired to walk all day. Do we go stroller free, until they get tired or rent one right away when we get to the parks? Do they ever run out of strollers? Also, if we leave and come back, do we have to pay the rental fee again? Please tell me how stroller rental works, we'll need a double for sure.

First off where are you staying. I would do a length of stay rental but you may want to consider bringing two umbrella strollers for when you are leaving the parks and they are tired so you don't have to carry them to the buses and to your room if you are staying on property. The double rents for 18 dollars per day on a daily basis or 16 dollars per day w/ a length of stay rental. A length of stay for 5 days is 80 dollars.

This link is for a stroller you might want to consider getting instead of the renting. I am not sure how old your kiddos are but this one holds 40 pounds and has some storage.

don't forget you can have it shipped from the site to your local store for free if you decided to go that route. I don't know if any of the other places/sites do that but its a nice option to have.

I would suggest renting one when you go into the parks-don't wait. I have not ever known them to run out of strollers, but the stroller rental desk is at the front of each park. Obviously if it is in the middle of the day and you're at the back of a park when your little ones get tired it would be inconvenient to have to walk back to the front of the park to rent. PP gave some good links for a purchase. For the price of one week's rental you would have one of your own. Definitely something to think about.
