Time to pick up car from Budget on the day we disembark?

We plan to rent a car from budget on the day we disembark. We have early breakfast. What time would you think we would be able to get to budget to pick up the car. Thanks.

We have late seating. What time would work for us? We want to be on the way to Typhoon Lagoon at 9:00, so I'm guessing we ask budget to get us at 8:15?

Last Saturday, we waited to get off of the ship a the doors, were of the first couple hundred off and were off the ship by about 8:20. Ship didn't clear until about 8:15. There were hundreds and hundreds of people in the lobby waiting to get off. It is a fairly slow process and we were lucky to get off right away, find our luggage immediately and head off to the busses. Coolest thing is the check in right there for our flight! We checked our luggage and had our boarding passes right there before we even got on the bus. That rocked!

We'd rented from budget for the ride to port and the night before hand in cocoa Beach, but opted for the Disney transfers back to the airport on the way home. We knew we'd be tired and we were. Disney made it sooooo easy and like I said, the portside check in was excellent. Arrived at the airport and just had to go to the gate! Loved it. Well worth the couple extra bucks it was over renting a car.

I don't believe you have to request a certain pick-up time. On your reservation put down what time you expect to pick up your rental. After the ship clears customs and you can disembark, and you get your luggage you go to the tent across the street and the car rental vans rotate through and pick you up.

Early or late seating you can still go to Topsiders for breakfast if you want.
We didn't rush off the ship and had our own vehicle in the lot but were pulling out of the terminal with everything packed into the van and on the highway at 8:30 am.
I would probably request 8 am and then you'll have it waiting for you when you get there (hopefully).

I do not think you can request a specific pick up time...as another poster said....they just send shuttles continously all morning to DCL on ship days.

We opted to take a taxi from the DCL parking lot to the Budget location because there was quite a long wait for the shuttle. Just hopped in a taxi that was sitting there at the tent area and it cost us $8.00 to get to the location....for four people I thought that was great!!!

Every car rental reservation I have made always ask what time you want to pick the vehicle up.
Not the pickup of you personally at the port but to get the vehicle itself.

I totally agree though IF you can get a cab I'd just do that. For the few buck it would cost sure would be less stressful
