Time to make the donuts

On the news they just announced that Michael Vale, the guy who did all those "Time to make the donuts" commercials for Dunkin' Donuts has died. Those commercials were always so fun.

Shame... I remember those commercials, especially the one where he "retired" from Dunkin Donuts.

My husband and I always enjoyed those commercials.

We still use that expression in our house. My husband is not a morning person and I always tell him "It's time to make the donuts" when I have to get him up early.
