but i am trying really hard to finish it, even if i'm the only one who makes it till the end- i want it as a keepsake.

I know this is "Tim's" thread, but we've gone off topic before and I know some of my friends here have been praying for my brother, so I wanted to post a quick update:

For those of you who have been so generous with your prayers, we made a baby step today. My brother is off the sedation and the ventilator; he still has a breathing mask. They are taking him down for two procedures on his heart today and hopefully we will know more after those. The prayers are still needed...but as I said, we made a baby step today.

Yay for baby steps! Such great news to get off the vent! Praying that the procedures went well and that he cotinues to improve.

My youngest brother Bob is off the ventilator. He had two procedures done today; there is no blood clot or tumors on/near his heart. His heartbeat is around 93 right now. He still has heart disease and will more than likely have to take medicine for the rest of his life; but hey are working on getting him stronger. Thank you for all of the love and prayers the last several days. You have been my saving grace.

HA! That probably made me sound ummm... a little schizophrenic- bet I had you worried.

LOL! I was talking about the "Crapistan" time that Carissa posted about. For some stupid reason the gov't here set the entire country as one time zone, and really it should be 2 or maybe even 3 zones. I was also refering to the fact that THEY blocked access to my blog and I"m still very pisked.

I know we talked about a quick meet-up on Monday at MK, but did we ever decide when or where? We usually try to get to the parks early, but we're also checking out of AKV that morning and probably won't go to the park until Bambi's parents get there from Lakeland. Really the only thing that is on our must do list that day is to meet Tiana. Other than that, we should be quite flexible.

Realistically I don't see us arriving at MK till 10... anything earlier than that would be a bonus. I don't have a set plan but I can see us starting out in Fantasy Land and Toontown. I really don't follow a touring plan- I just have an idea in my head what I want to accomplish.

We will be at CBR checking out then heading to the airport.

Our flight leaves at 4:20 so we have to be there by 2:30.... Doesn't leave much time for going to a park. Hopefully it is nice out and we can hit the pool and check out the resort before we leave.

We usually fly back about 7pm but I opted for a little earlier this time. The good is that we will be home by 9.. the bad is we lose a day to hit the parks.

We had a break through with the car last night. Just like in October, I wasn't totally happy with the price but I did save $73+ over what I already had booked.

My price through Alamo site:
Car $378
Discount code $37.80
Taxes & fees $93.40
TOTAL- $433.60

My price through Priceline:
Car $18 per day $252
Taxes & Fees $108.30
TOTAL $360.30

So I thought I could get the car for around $320 but 1) I thought I had a chance to get the car for $17 and I ended up getting it for $18 and 2) I didn't factor in that the fees & taxes would be more. I thought since my base price was less my taxes would go down as well.

Total saved: $73.30


Started taking out clothes and braking out the summer totes of summer clothes. My mom brought us a bigger suitcase so we can have 3 big suitcases. I also told her my cake idea and she agreed that I did the right thing. So I will be keeping the cake 'as-is'. Do you think I will have to bring my own candles or would they supply them? I guess I should of asked when I ordered. LOL

Still waiting for some Mickey mail too.

Go to the dollar store or party depot and find some fun candles. Our server at the Akershus took them back to the kitchen and put them in back there, and the dessert came out all pretty and lit up.

The bad thing about bidding on priceline is they charge your CC right away. So I can't look for a better price but I'm 75% happy with that price... With the way it's been in this thread the last few weeks, people might think I'm never happy.

His estate has made millions since his death..... I would think they should be able to free him. I gotta send some nasty emails to se if I can get him freed..... maybe I can use my charm!

I've looked at Priceline in the past. The thing I don't like about it is when you bid on car you don't know what company you are getting and I HATE going off the airport grounds to pick up my car -- wastes way too much time in my book.

I've used priceline 3 times in orlando/tampa and have gotten Alamo each time. I like Alamo and are used to them. In Tampa there is a shuttle to Alamo but is isn't bad 5 min or so. I think Enterprise is the only renter at the actual airport.

LOOK I'M GOING TO WDW IN 6 DAYS. I'M HAPPY!!!!!
