You will really like CBR~the rooms are bright & colorful & the themed pool is great. There's lots of steel drum music, nice pool bar & a hair wrapping station by the themed pool. It's my DH's fave resort next to the Poly.

I've been busy the last week....so....

How did today go?

And did I know you were staying at CBR? CBR gets knocked because of it's size and the distance to Old Port Royal, but we've enjoyed every stay there (1994,96 and 2000)

Well quick update (because I have to get ready to leave for work).

Juliana was granted a wish. It was almost like pulling teeth. At first it seemed she wanted to have a tea party with the princesses. So her granters were talking about how they would get all the princesses together here in CT for the party. Then the talk shifted to Disney. The granters needed Juliana to be the one to say where she wanted to go.

Well they ended up asking her if she wanted to goto Disney and she said yes! Her trip is 7 days 6 nights staying at Give Kids the World Village. We gave then some dates including September 1, December 1, and April 1.

I'll have more details later!

I'm finally catching up on all my threads (sorry, Tim, was in Mt. Vernon, IA watching Markie's team (Dubuque -- ranked #22 in the country) UPSET the #10 team in the country (Cornell) 22-20. Markie pinned his kid in 55 seconds) and didn't get home until 1 a.m. and then was very busy all day.

I love the idea of a tea with the princesses, but glad you get another trip to Disney. Juliana and you and Mel are most deserving this trip.

I'm hoping we like it too.. I'm sure we will. We really loved CSR.. .I hope CBR is just as good! I'm not sure if I will get my hair wrapped though.

I'm glad you like CBR. People knock CSR because of the size too. We found when we were at POP we walked more than when we were at CSR. So I'm not worried about doing a little walking.

A Tea Party at Disney!

I need to do some research and see if I can get Juliana to a tea party there. I know there is the one at the GF with Alice. I'm not sure if I could get some other princesses involved.

Her granters are going to get back to us with-in a week or 2 with our travel dates. We are anxiously waiting to hear from them.

Early December is a wonderful time of year isn't it? I hear it is beautiful then. I also hear there will be quite a few DIS dads there that week.

Glad to hear Markie did good in his meet! 22-20 close score! I left for work at 8:30am and got home at 11:45pm. It was a long day.

Juliana's wish granters brought up the point that they could probably get the tea party for her here but it would be over in a matter of hours. Where if she went to Disney, it would last a bit longer than 2-3 hours. LOL

We really want this to be a different and special trip. I'm going to try to do some research to try to find a few things we can do that will make it different. Staying at Give Kids the World Village is special in it self but I really want this to be a memorable trip.
