Time to arrive to watch fireworks at Top of the World at BLT

Hi All! My folks are heading to WDW in October (during Food and Wine) and were thinking of watching the fireworks at BLT. What time should they arrive to get seats to do that?

Most arrive at least 30 minutes prior and you stand on the viewing deck to watch. Prior you can arrive a little earlier, sit in the lounge area inside, have a drink and/or finger food.

We were there Saturday night. About an hour before, we got the last seats but others opened up. We went out into the deck for the fireworks. I don’t see how you could see much inside.

I agree that you're going to want to watch the show from outside, so seats shouldn't matter. We've always preferred to linger after the fireworks as about 90% of the people leave at that point. It's easy to get a seat afterwards and a great place to have a cocktail.
