time spent at CDG airport

Hi guys, We are heading next week and I'm about to book the TGV train. My only concern is that we are landing at 9.40 a.m and the TGV leaves at 10.25. Would there be enough time do you think to navigate our way with 2 children to baggage reclaim and to train station or would i be better looking at an alternative option? Thanks from a first time poster!!!

Hi HnH. I think you'd be running the risk of missing your TGV. I fly in and out of CDG for business (as well as the occasional bit of pleasure) quiet a bit and I can count on one hand the number of times my flight has landed on time. In fairness to the ground staff at the airport, the baggage generally comes through quiet quickly but I really don't think 45 mins is enough time.

I think it would also depend on the terminal you were flying into? The station is at Terminal 2, so if you were flying into Terminal 1 I don't think you'd make it. We've flown into CDG twice now and have landed either on time or early both times, but the first time the baggage claim was fairly quick and we then got lost trying to find the station/vea . The second time, baggage took AGES to come through (this alone took an hour) and we decided not to even look for the station and just hopped in a taxi 5 minutes after collecting baggage. What time is the next TGV? If you don't book the tickets in advance, if the next TGV isn't for a while, you will have options then.
