Is it me or am I crazy to be annoyed . I just want to hear people thoughts on this . Has anyone actually signed up for it. If anyone who doesn’t know what the time share people are well I think they are time share representatives , they are the people on harbor Blvd from the Camelot to the park vue the solicit you for a free limo ride and dinner. I guess it just gets old after every time you walk back and fourth from your hotel room. Thoughts?

We always stay at the Park Vue, and have never really been too bothered. A firm "no thanks" has always worked for us. I definitely would like it better if they weren't around though. I actually did see someone bite one time, and they whisked her inside the hotel lobby....

We have no interest in a time share.....except for the DVC (if we could afford it!!!!)

I have not had a problem with them when staying on Harbor. However, when DH and I went to Vegas awhile back everywhere we went we were being hounded and it gets old REAL fast.

yeah I agree with you about the park vue that’s where we usually stay but during Christmas the Camelot had a bigger room for the amount of people we had so we ended up staying there , I was just getting annoyed with them after awhile. Thanks for the quick responses

A friend did the presentation and got $100 Disney Dollars. It was a non-park day for her anyway and figured why not get the free money.

I just firmly say no and keep walking. Sure it would be more pleasant if they weren't there, but I've never felt annoyed. Maybe because I travel to a lot of time share destinations and deal with this kind of solicitation all the time.

They are time share people. We did it in 07 on a non park day and got $100 Disney Dollars. That was cool. we did end up buying into the "explorer" program, we paid a discounted rate for a certain number of points but we've had some trouble getting to use our points as the Anaheim property is very small and they are not exclusively a timeshare property. They are Shell people and the property is the Peacock. The property is nice but it's hard to get in because it's tiny....anyway, we've only been able to use it a few times so we are not buying in but we've had a few "free stays" due to Shell. I do like Shell properties but I don't particularly want to own a timeshare....if you've got free time and are good at saying NO do it, if you don't want to hear about it as you walk closer just say "we are owners, thanks" and keep walking. :)

They are sooooo annoying. He almost doesn't want you to walk away...just kept offering more and more disney dollars. If I were interested I'd approach you but I dont like being harrassed on my way to and from the parks. Once he found out we were DVC people he wouldn't let go. Ugh.

Like I said, just say you are already owners, you don't need to tell them what you own. :) Or now that you know they are Shell people just tell them you already own Shell and keep walking. That worked great for us. :)

DH and I did a no-kids trip in Aug and thought it would be somthing new to do so we went and had to listen to them talk about how great their time share was (Shell Vacations) and how crappy it is to stay in places like HoJos when you could be at a 5 star resort...ya whatever!! lol
We got $100.00 Disney dollars and then had a nice dinner that night. :)
We didn't sign up we just had to listen.
It was an easy $100.!!! lol

After about the bazillionth NO I don't even make eye contact with them and just walk by and say NOOOO. Last June I stayed at the Anaheim Plaza and crossed the street and walked in on the oposite side of Harbor, (by the drop off parking lot) and I was like "ahh how peaceful no TimeShare people" Seriously annoying
