I need some advice please.

We will be having some off-site time during our 3 weeks in WDW.

So I will be booking towncars to take us to those places, I don't drive while on hols I do a 100 mile roundtrip to work and back everyday so part of any hol for me is not driving! These are our plans let me know if they sound reasonable.

We will be going to Seaworld 19/12 I think according to the website it will open at 9 until 7. We are planning to be there for 9 and leave about 4.30/5. Will this give us enough time to do all the shows?

On 20/12 will be doing Millenia Mall one of my Mum's must dos! We were thinking about 10-4 again does this sound reasonable?

Finally I have booked the VIP tour of US for 26/12 starts at 12. US is open til 11(?) that night and also we may want to eat at Citywalk. The tour is 5 hours so I was thinking leaving about 8 as it is a later start.

Any feedback?

Many thanks
Jane

Hi fellow Lancastrian! The time you indicate for Seaworld should be comfortable.. we've been about 5 times now and (always there at opening time) are usually ready to go by 400ish. Sorry, not 'done' the other 2 options, I'm sure others will advise!

This doesn't look like nearly enough time to do Sea World to me - but then I can spend 2 hours just with the dolphins. :teeth:

Seriously though, you may be missing out on the later shows like Shamu Rocks America and I seem to remember fireworks at the end of the day. We always stay til throwing out time.

Not been to Mall of Millennia, so I can't comment. And with US - again we always spend the full day. It's very difficult to drag yourself away from the park while it's all still in full swing. You've paid for entry, after all. Have you asked for advice on the US/IOA forum? They are always keen to help.

I too think you would be best to leave at park close for Sea World - we're always there from first to last (apart from when we could come and go on the 7 day unlimited admission we had with our Discovery Cove passes).

We have often made use of the handstamp at Universal to leave the park and come back later so we can stay to the end, but you don't have that option - however, I would have thought that the cars would be flexible and that you could see if you could call once you want to be collected, say about half an hour before you want to leave.

Having done a VIP tour at IOA you will have an amazing time on your tour.If the tour finishes at 5 o'clock ,then 3 hours sounds more than enough to eat and spend time at CityWalk.

One tip is to arrive and enter the park before the tour.Because you're whizzing around you'll see things you'd have liked to stop and look at, shops etc.If you get there about 10.30 you could have a leisurely walk around the park and look at stuff beforehand as you'll be tired afterwards!
