Time Needed at Disney Restaurants

I am making the plans for our September trip to Disney World and we have made reservations for Teppan Edo and the Fairytale Lunch at Cinderella's Castle.

I have scheduled 1 hour for each of these meals and was wondering if that is sufficient time or should I book more time.

For both, I think you need to assume 90 minutes once seated, and do not rely on being seated on time.

I would schedule at least 90 minutes - but that's to eat. It can sometimes take a while to get seated. CRT the meal won't last as long (they tend to rush you through - they have high turnover there) but the wait to be seated took us about 30 minutes.

I don't really find CRT to be rushed since the meal lasts at least as long as the full princess rotation takes.

Some people rush it for PPO but may miss a princess doing so.

You may not get in at the time of your res when ever I go to the castle never get in at the time of reservation ,then when you do get in you have to wait on line for pic ,you need to give yourself more time then an hour

I can only comment on CRT. Last time for dinner, they were 40 minutes late and our meal was at least 90 minutes. Like another one said, you have to wait in line for your photo with Cinderella after you are called.

I have an 8 am for Akershus, but I would forfeit a princess for the FEA ride. I don't want to make 3 trips to Epcot.

I always plan on at least an hour and a half for lunches or dinners and at least an hour for breakfast. That being said, we (my kids and I - party of 3) are usually out of the restaurants in about 45 min. But always prepare for longer just incase. CRT was probably one of the ones that actually took a full hour and a half.

Two hours at any table service restaurant in WDW is my rule.

Many posters here report being rushed at times, and I don't doubt that it happens, but it's never happened to me. Many times it's been all I could do to settle the check so we could leave.

I always plan for 60 minute non character TS, 75 minute character meal and 90 minute signature. We are almost always done a few minutes less than that, but I like a little buffer in my plan.
