We are staying off property and I am wondering if anyone knows how long we should plan it to take us from Epcot where the shuttle drops us off to get to Magic Kingdom?
Also how long does it take to get from Epcot to Animal Kingdom? We love the recommendations to get to the gates early!
Thanks!

1. Allow 35-45 minutes.

2. Allow 20-30 minutes to get to the DAK gates.

:welcome: toi the DISboards, Gjkm!

I assume you mean how long using the monorail system from Epcot? That takes about 20 minutes if you dont have to wait in lines for the epcot line or the MK line when you switch over. From MK to AK would be a bus, so around 25 minutes with no waiting for a bus. But any kind of line for monorail or bus will be additional time that you cant always be sure how long that will be.

If you’re driving to MK remember to factor in extra time to take the WDW transport from the lot to the entrance. This is the only park you have to do that for.

As far as I can tell, the OP is asking about taking their off-site resort's shuttle to the park, which drops guests at Epcot.

Then, they are asking about likely travel time, via Disney transportation, from the Epcot drop-off to MK (and also from Epcot drop-off to DAK.)

One problem you'll have is the park-to-park buses may not be running before park opening. If they don't, you won't be at any gate early. The monorail may be running back to MK, but I'm not even sure of that one. @Robo do you know if the park-to-park buses and/or monrail start PPO?

Yes, just a general note to the OP, those off-site shuttles usually run only at specific times and you may have to sign up for times at your hotel. They drop off at Epcot and getting to the other parks can be quite a hassle.

They run the buses to the other parks from Epcot early enough so that guests arriving by off-site resort shuttles can get to the other parks.
Disney is the entity that chose the Epcot bus location for many off-site shuttles.
(They USED to route most to TTC, back in the day.)
If the monorail is not in operation for the TTC/MK route, Disney will be running special buses to cover the route(s.)

For Magic Kingdom:
When you arrive at Epcot you will walk over to the monorail station and board the monorail which takes you to TTC (Transportation & Ticket Center).. At TTC, you have the option of either transferring to the Magic Kingdom monorail or taking the ferry boat across the lagoon, monorail is normally the faster option. This trip normally lasts about 30 minutes..

For Animal Kingdom:
When you arrive at Epcot you will walk over to the WDW bus area and look for the stop indicating Animal Kingdom and board that bus.. This trip normally lasts about 20 minutes..
