Not sure where to put this post, but I scheduled a 10:50am late breakfast at Boma on our AK day. We'll be getting to the park for early morning hours at 7:30am. Not sure if this will just be too crazy and time consuming and may just cancel but breakfast at Boma has been on the to-do list for a while.

Any idea what time we would have to walk out of AK to get to Boma on time? Is a late breakfast rushed or we're okay to stay till 12pm or so?

We'll be hopping to the MK around 4-5pm.

Is breakfast at Boma worth all this hassle?

IMO it's not worth the hassle but others may disagree.

We have waited anywhere from 5-45 minutes for a bus back to AKL mid-day. It's really hard to guess. Perfect world, you walk right up to a bus but outside of the peak travel times, I've found buses to often be few and far between.

I may be overly cautious but I would be at the bus stop by 10:15am just in case. That'd give you less than 3 hours at AK, though. If you get to the hotel early, you can watch the animals (several spots to do so) or see about being seated early. Worst case is you waited awhile at a bus stop and make it just in time.

You definitely won't be rushed at all even with one of the later seatings.

Hopping to MK at 4..so are you planning to stay At AKL all that time or go back to AK?
I think breakfast at Boma is awesome..for me I would decide whats more important early AK or breakfast. If Boma start there early then go to AK. If you decide to do both you might Uber..a bit more reliable than busses usually. Bus to AK could be super quick...or Not !

Ya, it does seem like a lot of hassle and extra travel time.

We'd go back to the AK. I gave up on that idea and just moved the adr to 8am and can just uber straight to the AKL. Then start our AK day after breakfast and then hop to the MK around 4/5p. It will be a long day, may as well start off with a nice breakfast. I'm not keen on losing out on the early entry/rope drop time, but will get Genie+ and the ILL for FoP so hopefully still okay.

Sounds good! Plan on a break with a snack or drink in some corner off the beaten path mid day. Disn tourist blog has great touring strategies by park..how to ride without LL and genie+and still avoid lines..seem to remember that AK starts to empty at 2 when people get ready to hop elsewhere so a good time for rides..maybe animal trails and shows earlier? Anyway, research that! :)

Will check that out, thanks!

I think it's fine so long as you aren't "trying to get a lot done" at Animal Kingdom in the limited time.

After Boma, I would take a nap.

We once went to Boma and then to the parks right after. That wasn't fun for me. I needed to recover from the food coma.

This is the kind of thing I would do as an annual pass holder. If I was buying a $120 ticket, I would skip Boma.

I think that is a much better plan. We always make an ADR at Boma on our AK day the first time of the day taking a cab from our resort and then doing AK.
