We are a family group of 12 including 4 1-2 year olds. We have a choice of Chef Mickey at 5:00 (which I don't know if it's too early because they want to go back to the offsite rooms for a nap in the afternoon) or 6:20 which means we will not make it back to MK for the parade and fireworks. Which time would you choose?

Thanks

When is your trip? I'm guessing you already know what time the MK closes and what time the parade and fireworks are - guessing you mean Spectro right?

I think you have no choice but take the 6:20 time so everyone can be together no? Would moving the dinner inside the park - like at CP or LTT give you more of a chance to catch the fireworks and/or parade? Those are both character meals too. That should save you 30 mins or so of walking and time it takes to get inside the park.

We would probably pick the earlier time just because it seems it is not as "crazy" in the restaurant at that point. They have only been open for dinner for 30 minutes--plus we would want to not miss the fireworks. BUT we make it from park to park quickly with our 4 kids. It depends on what time the fireworks are that night. If they are at 7 you will probably not want to cut your dinner short. Also if you go with the 5 time what time do you think they will nap? Are you on the same time zone? Have you been at the parks a few days? or are you just arriving? If we do Chef Mickey's on our first night we tend to pick the earlier time. If we do it after we've been in the parks a few days we tend to do a later dinner after a day in the parks and then just go back to the room aferwards. Either way---you will have LOTS of fun!! Enjoy!

Thanks for the responses.

We are arriving in on Friday night March 4 and this would be for Saturday after we are in the MK. We have breakfast PS at Cindy's Castle at 9 AM and think the kids (all between 1 year and 2 1/2 years) will definitely need a nap in the afternoon. MK fireworks are at 8 PM, parade at 7 PM.

We will be at the MK again the next day, so maybe we could arrive a little later and stay to see the afternoon parade. There is no parade on the Sunday night, and the fireworks are at 7 PM. What do you think? If we get there around 11 on Sunday will it be too crowded? We are staying offsite. How important is the paarade for children that young? Is it worth rushing for?
