IOA has been open for 6 years now, and the only additions since opening day are the Flying Unicorn and Stormforce, both added in response to "things the smaller folks can do."

IOA was definitely opened as a "complete park." It was not planned as a "park lite" to be added to in short order, as some other parks were. But, it seems as though in order to keep "givin' 'em a reason to come back" most parks add a headliner every couple of years.

Universal has done this with USF, adding, changing, expanding all along the way. All of the recent upgrades have gone its way - and they've all been good ones.

Believe me, I think that IOA is a full and fantastic park as it is. But, the need to be continually refreshing in the world of theme park competition has never seemed to be as pressing as it is these days.

So, when do you think the folks at Universal will add a new headliner to IOA?

Who knows. I think Seuss Landing or Jurassic Park should get a new ride.

Seuss should level the old Mt. Crumpit Snow Plummet and build a Grinch ride-either a dark ride, kiddie rollercoaster, or simulator.

JP could use a coaster.
