Time for a review.. New Year's resolutions..

If you made any, have you stuck with them - or did they fall through?

For the first time ever, I am still abiding by all but one.. The last one I'm working on is pretty tricky - and can't be accomplished all at once - so there's still hope that I can manage it before the end of the year..

Yes! For the first time! I've lost 17 pounds and have 6 more to go! I have figured out that it's true: when it's finally important and you're willing to do what it takes, you make it happen.

DH has lost 80 pounds in that same period of time-having someone else in the house who is supportive and on the same page has made a world of difference!

That is wonderful!!!!! You both should be extremely proud..

I normally don't even make any New Year's resolutions - or if I do, I don't take them seriously enough.. This year there were some issues that I really, really wanted to work on though, so I've been giving it my all..

Of course I suppose it shouldn't take something like a New Year's resolution to jump start us into doing what we need/want to do, but heck - if it works, why not?

I resolved to lose weight and then found out in February that I was pregnant...

so as usual, my resolution went out the window...but we couldn't be happier!
