Time/distance from park to parking garage

We prefer to travel light when we're at theme parks, but I'd like to keep extra clothes in the car, just in case we get wet. I usually stash some snacks and drinks, too. How long does it take to get to the parking garages from IOA and US? We've never been to either park. I don't know how big the parks are and how far the garage is from the parks. I like to be prepared!

You can bring a backpack into the park. I think the parking lot is very far from the inside of US/IOA. If I were you I would bring a small cooler with your drinks, and a small backpack for your clothing. You can also get a locker inside the park. Have fun!!!

depending on where in the garage you parked your car, it could take 10minutes from the studios to the car.

It's at least 10 minutes of walking from the garages to both parks entrances since you have to walk through CityWalk!!

The walk isn't too bad from the garage since there are moving sidewalks (at least until you get to the City Walk area). Without those it would be quite a haul.
