hi all. Anyone do this trip with a preschooler from the east coast? My kid is very much a scheduled child but I'm itching to return to Aulani. If like to for my 40th which would be August and my son would be 4. How has this worked for others?

My youngest daughter is almost 4 & we are going next week, so I can let you know then!

We went when my oldest was 3 & honestly, it was brutal. She was up and ready to go at 3am every single day. We tried to push her bedtime back, but by 8pm she was gone and skipping naps ends up in a disaster for everyone. We did get to enjoy some beautiful sunrises, but it was rough.

This time, I'm bringing an iPad with headphones & im going to try & not feel guilty about early morning screen time if i can at least sleep until sun rise!

Awesome. Please let me know. And have fun!!

We are taking our 3-year-old twins and 4-year-old daughter in 3 weeks. I will let you know how it turns out, but our kids are pretty go -with-the-flow as far as schedules go, so I think it will be ok.

No advice but we are going end of sept with an 8 month old and 3.5 year old...probably insane but it should be fun. Breaking up the time change by stopping in Disneyland for 4 nights then onto Aulani for 6 nights :)
