Time between WDW wedding and At Home Reception?

For those of you that had an at home reception upon your return from you wedding, how long was the time lapse? My mother is wanting to throw us a reception, but we would like to wait until our pictures are back from Randy Chapman so that we can put them up on a display table. We also have not decided yet if we are going to video tape it, and if we did, that would be need to have playing.

we got back on the 2nd december and ours was on the 10th.
we had our photos back from disney photography so we didnt have to wait.

We are getting married on March 18th and having our home reception on May 5th. I am hoping to have some pictures back but I know from our engagement pictures it took a while so I am no banking on it. As for the video, we may be able to get the raw footage but not the finished product.

We plan on having lots of photos our friends and family took and have them for the home reception.

We're getting married October 12th, and having our at home reception November 3rd. We may have the pictures back, but I'll have some candids from the family that was there.

We are getting married Monday, March 5th and having our reception on Friday, March 16th (day before St. Patty's day!). I doubt we will have any pictures to put up, but hopefully my brother can take a few in Florida (he's a photography major) so we can put them at the reception.

We are getting married August 6th and our reception at home is August 17th. I, too, am relying on my family taking pictures - I don't want to pay the rush fee for getting them early!

our DFTW was on November 14th and we had our reception December 2nd (Skipped a weekend due to thanksgiving). We didnt have photos back, but my parents videotaped the entire thing... so we left the wedding playing throughout the wedding on the welcome table. We had a couple of our wedding photos that were snapped by us either before or after the wedding-- so we took those. Everything worked out nicely. Count on a good 5 or 6 weeks before you get the photos from randy..

Our wedding is June 25, and our first "at-home" reception, in my hometown in NJ will be July 1. This is cutting it very close and even cut our disneymoon short, but DF has to get back to school, and I do not see us being able to make the trek to NJ before Christmas. Waiting 6 months would be too long, I think. Then our second "at-home" reception, will be at DF's parents' home in SC sometime in the Fall. We figure we'd have all wedding pictures back by then. We are having our Disney wedding May 1 2008 and then going on our honeymoon (recently changed from Turks and Caicos to Tahiti) and then we are having our at home reception May 25th 2008. We aren't too sure what to do in terms of making our guests feel like they were with us in FLA. Past brides-what else did you do to make your guests feel like they did not miss out by not being in FLA? Also did anyone wear their dress again?

We are having our wedding on July 2, 2007 and our at home Mad Hatter Tea is on July 14th. Taz said we would have some pics to take back with us from Florida. We are staying 10 days after wedding for our honeymoon.

We are also bringing back somethings as favors from disney.

Our wedding is April 30th and our at home reception is June 3rd. Hopefully our pictures will be back by then!!!

Our wedding was on December 11th and our at-home reception is on March 10th. We just got our pics back from Randy!!! And I e-mailed Stan from STVS and he said we should have our DVD in February - in plenty of time for the reception!! I can't wait!!! I would love to wear my dress again, but my pregnant tummy won't fit into it. I just fit into it at our wedding... no way that another 6 lbs heavier, I'll get into it now... and I still have about 2 months to go before the reception. I had actually bought another dress to wear at the reception in NJ but now I'm afraid that won't fit either... I have yet to try it on. Mostly because I don't want to be disappointed... but I guess I should find out soon...

We were married Dec 3 and had the at home in early Feb. It worked out fine for pics, but we were a bit worried by mid Jan when we still didn't have them. We Still ended up getting them with about 2 weeks to spare. We just made sure we called Randy with you know we NEEED these right. He was great. But a bit slow in getting us the pics.

We are getting married August 20 and having a reception in Las Vegas in November. Just remember, the longer you wait, the more you will have to look forward to!
