What is an allowable time between meals on the dining plan?

We have one day where meals will only be about an hour and 1/2 apart due to a late lunch and early dinner for Fantasmic. Will we have trouble using two sets of credits that close together?

I know it will be eat in one place and then go eat in another but unless ADR's open up we are stuck but I would hate to eat the second meal and then have our room key declined.

If your second meal is a Fantasmic Dinner Pkg, I say keep that ADR and ditch the first one. Find another day to have two meals if you need to. Keep trying to get a breakfast ADR for that day or anything other than eat two meal that close together. You won't enjoy the second one at all because you'll be too full.

Yikes! Why in the world would you WANT to eat those two meals that close together? Pick one of the two and drop the other. There's just no way you'll enjoy that 2nd meal if you've just eaten.

I don't have an answer to your questions, by the way...I can't even being to imagine doing what you're suggesting!

I agree with the other posters here, just get a snack to tied you over to your F! dinner or you are going to be too full to eat.

I don't think you would have trouble using 2 sets of credits, but if they're only 1½ hours apart I can't imagine that you'll be hungry enough for another meal.

Is the dinner part of the Fantasmic Dinner Package or just an early dinner to see Fantasmic? Or is there a particular reason you're having a late lunch? I would keep whichever one you want the most and drop the other one.

It is a late lunch and an early dinner Fan Pkg. The group wants to eat in both places but I think I will keep trying to get an earlier lunch!:thumbsup2

Keep the Fantasmic meal, and cancel the earlier one. Eat counter service meal, preferably at least 4 hours before or after the Fantasmic meal. Total waste of credits to schedule meals 1.5 hours apart...no way you'll be hungry for the F! meal.

I could never eat two meals so close together get rid of the first one

These doesn't have to be a gap so you are fine. U might be asked about it but just explain it and it won't be a problem. Those table service are for you to use during your stay. You dont have to do certain things. You could go from one place right to another every day and Disney wouldn't say a thing as long as you made each reservation time.

Personally I couldn't do it.. You get SO much food that there is just no way. I would keep trying for an earlier lunch.. you might look for something around the time the place opens and that will give you a nice window to eat and then play before heading to eat again..

I agree I don't know how your group will be able to eat two restaurant meals that close together. I would cancel that non-Fantasmic reservation for sure. At any rate you would be able to do it and pay for the meals, as long as you have the credits in your account. The only thing you can't do is use more credits at ONE transaction than you have people on the dining plan attached to your room reservation (if you have 4 adults you can't order 5 meals and pay for them with dining credits).

You are going to have to walk out of one restaurant and then immediately walk into another. That sounds miserable to me.

Thanks for the information. I just don't want to have the card declined if we end up having to do this. :thumbsup2

This is what I'd do.... keep working on an earlier lunch time! Don't drop the fantasmic dp though! That is a keeper! We do deluxe dining with three sit down meals a day, but make sure everything is spaced 4 to 6 hours apart so we don't waste any credits when we get to a meal and find ourselves not hungry enough to enjoy it!
