We don't normally do many sit down restaurants at WdW, but this time I would like to go to a good restaurant for dinner with my dh. I was thinking Lecellier. We like american food for the most part, any other good ideas. I think we will also take out kids to a kid club, maybe neverland at the Poly. So how much time do we need between fropping them off and getting to dinner. We will have a car, so maybe we should go to the trans. center and then take the monorail both ways. What does everyone think?

Here is an idea beofre or after your dinner how about a carriage ride at one of the resorts just you and Dh!

1) TTC car parking is the main MK parking lot.
2) Don't do it.
3) Take thed monorail from Poly to TTC to Epcot.
4) Allow 45-50 minutes total. *

* This includes monorail waiting time, monorail travel time, transfer time at TTC and walking to Epcot restaurant from monorail.

If we leave out car at the Poly. how much time will they give us for parking? Can we leave our car here?

May I suggest that you go to one of the restaurants at the Dolphin? Both Shulas and Blue Zoo have an agreement with the Dolphin Club which allows you to drop off your kids at the club for 2 hours while you have dinner. If you get the kids there by 6:30ish then the club will even serve them dinner! Sometimes they do face painting. The night usually ends with a handful of free tokens at the arcade. My 7-year old DD loves the Dolphin club! Those two restaurants will be more expensive than Le Cellier, but you save on the cost of the kid's club which was $10 per child last time I checked.

You need to call the Dolphin Club in advance and let them know you are going to dinner. They will need to see your receipt and only certain Dolphin restaurants are included.

Are you staying at a Disney Resort? I believe most of the kids clubs are for resort guests only? At least that is what i was told about the Sandcastle Club when I booked....we are at the YC, so no problem, but I would call ahead. The Swan / Dolphin club is open to anyone.

I'll definitely need to show DW this thread for future reference. Thx robinb! :thumbsup2

Our DDs did the Neverland Club a few years back and loved it. Cost was $10/child/hour. Sounds like the Dolphin Club option may be something for us to look at for the future as 2 hours at the Neverland Club for our gang will run us $60.

We will be staying at CBR. I will have to check out the restaurants at the Dolphin. Thanks.

Thanks for the correction. I thin I'm coming down with a cold and my brain is muzzy. I meant $10 per hour per child but my fingers didn't type it! I also meant to type BLUE ZOO and not Flying Fish. I will correct it in my original post.

Here is a link to Camp Dolphin: http://www.swandolphin.com/kids/campdolphin.html

My DD just told me that she liked Camp Dolphin better than the Neverland Club.

Hi Robinb! Haven't seen you in awhile! I love the new pic of your DD!

DH and I dined at BZ and LOVED IT...left DD in the Camp Dolphin for the free 2 hours...she LOVED IT (begged to stay.) Keep in mind that both adults need to order an entree to get the free Camp Dolphin, and show a receipt I am wondering how strict they are about that, because next time we go, DH and I would like to do appetizers (several) and drinks (SEVERAL) and that could easily add up to way more that 2 glasses of water and 2 entrees.

Also, Camp Dolphin was the only kid's club that presented me with something at the end that requested a signature AND a line to add "gratuity" which caught me off guard. Just wondering if everyone tips at the kids clubs? I never have before, but of course I did then, since it was free and it was kind of implied that it was "normal" to do so.

DD has stayed at Cub's Den and Simba's and loved them all!
