Many prayers for Marie, Dan! Blessings to her and you. I have one word for her with the closed MRI...Xanax! When I was in one for an MRI of my knee, I yelled for them to get me out! Back to the doctor's office for Xanax. Worked much better. I hope it turns out to be nothing serious.
I'm so sorry to hear this, I hope you get the best possible results from the MRI.
As far as Marie being concerned about the closed MRI, I have a quick story about that. My own DSister had breast cancer a few years and subsequently had 2 mastectomies, in addition to having her gall bladder removed within a week of the first mastectomy, brain tumor, plus various other serious health problems over the years, including severe, life-threatening asthma that she lives with daily. Anyway, through ALL of this, she dealt with it just fine, didn't need any anti-anxiety medication that had been offered to her during all of that. But when the time came that she needed to have an MRI, the thought of being in there totally flipped her out! That's the ONE and ONLY procedure that she took the doctor up on his offer of anxiety medication!! She made it through just fine though. Marie, I hope you do as well as my DSister did, you have a lot of people thinking of you and wishing you only the best
