time after closing...

this is second resale purchase. I cannot remember after closing how long for points to load in. we closed 1 week ago. I forget...do we need to do anything? we had to call to get our online account last time but we already have that this time. will they just load when they load? trying to make sure I get a room for the marathon next year with my BLT contract that we just bought

Our 2nd contract which was just this past October (and a few months after our first contract) actually took LONGER than the first one to finally see the points in our account.

I called, emailed, everything trying to find out why such a long delay and pretty much was told to be patient. It took 3 weeks after the day the deed was recorded to see the points in our account.

Have no idea why it took so long.

and there is nothing you had to do right? they just showed up one day when you logged in?

If you titled everything the same way as the 1st contract then yes it will show up. I have had resale contracts show up as quick as 8 days after closing to 17 days after but the average is about 2 weeks. Congrats

We just closed on a resale 1/24 and the points were loaded into our account 8 days later.

We closed January 28- deed recorded on the 29th and I called 6 days later and get my member # and access to points to make my reservation and we are new members... Maybe call member accounting to see if they can at least see the new contract set up?

Same here - we received our letter from Disney 7 days after the deed was sent to the county for recording! To my surprise I went into our online account (this was our 2nd resale purchase) and the new number was available and all the new points were there!!

We closed our sale on Jan 2nd and are still waiting to get our member number and points. I keep being told that Disney is behind and it should happen soon. Does this seem too long to anyone?

well i was on hold -- for what seemed like forever and when I got sick of waiting and decided to look and see if by chance they were there one more time...and suprise there they were!! WHOO HOO!!!
I then switched my need for the call and BOOKED my marathon weekend trip to bay lake tower!!!
