Mickey is SO cute!!! I know the kids are probably too excited for Friday to come--probably as bad as waiting for Christmas morning!!! Sounds like you guys have had such a fabulous summer with all your trips!! WHAT FUN!!! Tom has to take four more weeks of vacation time this year, because they are no longer going to be able to roll it over, and I am DYING to go somewhere for at least one of those weeks!!! Your multitudes of traveling has inspired me to want to go, go, go!!! Thanks for the inspiration! ;o) Jen

What a fun summer you are having... too funny what your neighbors did..

My heart melted when I saw your picture of your new puppy.
Today, I think is that day I have to make to decision you made about your dog. Our vet told us last week it was time to put our 6 yr old lab down. We waited in hopes of him getting better and we took him home. But, today may be the day. Hug your puppy for me on Friday.

I love your trip report, your family is so wonderful, you are very lucky.

Hi guys, thanks for all the puppy comments, we are SOOOOOOOO excited! Right now we're buried in laundry trying to get it down and put it away and organize the house before the big pick up day on Thursday.
I worked on an update today and as soon as Tim has the t.v. ready it will be posted today so stay tuned.
Loved the pictures of Disney too, she is adorable - my brother has a Goldendoodle and she is an awesome dog, thanks for sharing.
Well, gotta run to do dinner.

Great update!

Loved the shirt you made for Tim. HOW PERFECT!

I started to get bummed, and then was so excited for Luke when I saw that he actually got picked to fight Darth Maul!

Lauren makes a super cute Princess Leia, and the face painting was just precious on her too!

I just giggled when I read about her "meeting Princess Leia" That lady was really nice to pose with her. So...will you ever break the news to her? Maybe when she's an adult?

Glad you made it safely home and can't wait to read more!

Oh and Mickey is just the CUTEST thing! I just love the name! My cousin recently rescued a puppy and named her Minnie.

So I left you with us in the room gourging ourselves on cake. After the cake was devoured we took a little snooze then awoke to get ready for dinner. We headed out to Epcot for our Fathers Day/Birthday dinner. This was the BUS TRIP FROM HELL! I was so stressed out by the time we got there. We waited for awhile for a bus and when it picked us up it was a half an hour before our reservation window, there was an ECV to load so this took awhile and we didn’t pull out for like 10 minutes, THEN we headed to Fort Wilderness, our bus got stuck behind another bus who was unloading an ECV and the ECV on our bus needed to be unloaded, let’s just summarize it by saying that by the time we pulled out of Fort Wilderness we were FIVE minutes from our reservation window at Epcot, I was freaking out. I knew how popular LeCellier was and I was so worried our special dinner wouldn’t happen. It was raining on this night too. When we arrived Tim ran ahead of us to get our reservation (he later told me he completely bit it off the bus when he attempted to run ahead off the bus, completely fell down the stairs! He also almost bit it several times running in the rain). The kids and I grabbed a stroller and I pushed them while RUNNING to dinner, I was so out of breath by the time I got there. They seated us and the dinner began.
I LOVE LECELLIER!!!! The food there is out of this world and this night didn’t disappoint.

Tim and I started the meal off with drinks, I got wine and he ordered a martini, here we are doing “cheers” to celebrate our big day:

Here is the awesome pretzel bread that we had refilled once, SO good!

We both ordered the yummy potato cheese soup, so did the kids with their meals (they have good kids meal options here), here it is SOOOOOOOOO good:

I ordered the mushroom fillet, THIS IS THE BEST MEAL EVER, I can taste it right now, it is melt in your mouth and that mushroom flavored rice is out of this world:

By this time in the meal Tim ordered a second martini with extra olives:

Tim was getting QUITE tipsy…………– VERY HAPPY GUY!!

Then it was desert time. I was SO excited to see the chocolate mousse and campfire smores coming out even though it wasn’t on the menu’s online and talk on Dis suggested otherwise so I was THRILLED.
I ordered my favorite, campfire Smores for desert, it came out with a candle and they sang to me which was cool.

They also presented me with a card that the staff signed, nice touch. Here I am with my marshmellows/candle and card:

Tim ordered the chocolate whiskey cake, it looked good too:

Kids had the normal (they need more kid desert options) build a sundae:

After that we were going to head out and relax at the resort but on our way out there was no line for Spaceship earth and we wanted to see the updates so we stopped and headed inside:

What a cool update with the taking of a picture, we posed for our pictures and were so excited to see what that meant. But as the ride was wrapping up and we saw that everyone was enjoying their pictures our screens went dead, we were SO bummed. We got off and told the CM and she let us get right back on so we did. This time they worked. WHAT A COOL UPDATE. Here we are in the future; Lauren and I:

The exit area was awesome and we started playing right away:

But unfortunately it was closing and we had to go. When we got back to the resort there was a message light that we had something in the mercantile shop waiting which confused me because we hadn’t bought anything. Tim headed down and came back with this AWESOME GIFT from Megansmom here on the Dis with a nice note, SO SWEET, they are in my kitchen right now:

We went down and got some snacks and hung out in the room that night, saw the fireworks on the balcony and hit the sack, ready for another fun filled day tomorrow. STAY TUNED!
