Timandlesley’s how to win a dream in 10 days 11/15 NEW PTR UP!! pg. 94 has link!!!

Thanks so much for everyone being patient while we have constantly been out of town on vacations all summer. Les and the kids will be back from Grand Haven tomorrow and we will get updates out to all of you. Again, thanks so much!

Tim :thumbsup2

Don't feel bad. Although we are all looking forward to another installment of your trip report we also want you guys to have a great summer and it seems like you are having a great time
:goodvibes

Hope you all had a great week of vacation and enjoy these last weeks of summer!

Another great day! So glad that Luke got picked... and that you got into the Playhouse Disney show...Lauren lines are such a 4 year old. Hannah goes ugly/sweet quick too... although not so much at WDW! The new Playhouse Disney looks fun, glad to see it was updated. So shocked at how empty the breakfast was... how does it rank among the other morning buffets you ate at?

Where did you get Tim's shirt... I think Doug needs that!

Enjoy the rest of your time in MI!

Laura
Thanks, I was so thrilled he got picked too. Actually that was as far as the character breakfasts are concerned it ranked one of my least favorites based on the characters but Lauren loved it, the food was average buffet fair but Chef mickeys, the Poly Breakfast and Crystal Palace put it to shame, but it is fun if you have a playhouse disney fan and very cool to get into Hollywood Studios early. I still wish they would turn this into a Toy Story meal! I got Tim's shirt on Zazzle.com I personalized it myself, I couldn't find one, couldn't believe it!

Awesome update! LOVE your necklace...very pretty!

BTW, do you remember what was in your adult drinks from the Backlot Express?
Thanks! I just love it. Luke wanted me to tell everyone HE picked it out ; ) The drink. ..... don't remember the name, but there is a picture of it on the menu that's why I decided to get it, VERY yummy!
I was so excited to see that you had posted an update.....YAY

Hope that you guys are having a wonderful vacation!!!

I was so glad to hear that Luke was picked for the Jedi training....Do they offer that during other times of the year or is in just for Star Wars Weekends??

I can't wait to take the little one to see the Play House Disney show especially after seeing all of the pictures. We have never seen the Indiana Jones show maybe we will this trip.

I love all of the Father's Day/Birthday gifts that you got.

How did you order the cake and card?
They used to only offer it during Star Wars Weekends but I'm pretty sure it's all year round now, such fun!!! Glad you enjoyed the update

I LOVE Lauren's little hairdo...so cute! How did you get the cake surprise going? Where is it from and how did you arrange it...I've always wondered and we're going for my mom's 50th birthday soon, so I would love to do something like that! Thanks! And keep em coming!!
Thanks, Tim did that - what a great dad huh? The cake thing...... I called the cake hotline, I talked to the lady and asked about a Mickey card, she said, "I'll be working that day so I'll make sure that they include the card from the big guy" and they did, I was thrilled!

Leslie I have two question
1. Do you have to make ressies to draw?? I would love to surprise my soon to be 13DD with a moment to do this. She enjoys drawing.

2. The drinks that you buy are you allowed to carry them around? Or do you have to sit? I have family members who will be looking for some next year.

Thanks in advanced:thumbsup2
No, no ressies needed to draw, free to anyone, just ask the CM were to wait in line and wait for the next show (less than 10-20min. wait. It's such fun!)
Yes, you can carry those drinks around, at least I carried mine around.
Lesley

i was showing your pics to ray and he said to tell you that that's a bounty hunter from episode II. now you've had your star wars lesson for the day! :rotfl:
That is so funny-tell Ray thank!. You know, after looking at the pic that wasn't the "all kind of freaky" lady I meant, there was this other lady who was bald with an antenna coming out of her head and she was SUPEr freaky and had all kinds of audience interaction, don't know where that pic went.
Hey Leslie, Great update. I love your necklace; Tim and Luke did a great job picking that out for your birthday. I also like Tim's shirt.
Star Wars weekend looks really cool. My boys are dieing to see the jedi training academy. I hope they get picked to participate. (do they pick the kids who yell and scream and jump up and down the most?) They would be super excited to battle Darth Maul; I wonder if he's only there for starwars weekends.

Where did you get Luke's Star Wars shirt from?
Glad you enjoyed it. I hope your boys get picked too. Yes, the tend to pick the kids in the very front all around the stage who were jumping up and down and raising their hands (there are TONS of them) I was told by a CM Darth Maul is just there for the Star Wars Weekends, otherwise it's Darth Vader. I got the Star Wars Shirt for Tim on zazzle.com, I personalized it on there.
Lesley

Beautiful Necklace and cool shirt for Tim :)

Looks like you guys had a wonderful day.... but still no sign of dream team....what's up with that?
Stay tuned...................;)

Hi guys! Finally back from traveling. Seriously........ we've barely been at home this summer. Our neighbors as a joke put a for sale sign in our yard right before we came home, it's the neighborhood joke that they should rent out our house since we're never here. Life is good!!!!:thumbsup2
I will post an update soon I promise.
Thanks so much for all the posts while we were away. We had a great time in Grand Haven, I'll upload our dismeet pics soon. I answered everyone's posts who posted a question while we were gone and thanks to everyone who voted for the pictures.
Wel................. Tim drew #1 and I drew #2. I love the person who said that they thought it was Tim who drew #1 and I drew #2 because of how distracted I must have been with the kids and guys can tune that out, right on:thumbsup2 :worship: . The stinkin' tongue was HARD and with Luke crying and Lauren whining to pee I had lost all concentration and they don't have erasers which is a HUGE bummer. Tim's looks good doesn't it!
Well, we are VERY excited as a family because we get to pick up our new puppy on Friday. Here is the cutie (his name is Mickey) at 6 weeks:

Well, gotta run and put kids to bed and start UN-PACKING:sad2: my LEAST favorite part of traveling.
Update forthcoming, stay tuned!:goodvibes

:cheer2: You're back! :cheer2:

Too funny about the for sale sign! The puppy is tooo cute!!!! Glad you guys are having a great summer!

Looking forward to the next installment! :)

WELCOME HOME! Mickey's a cutie! We have a Minnie. :) I have a picture of her on my PTR if you wanna see her.

Can't wait for the update!

Welcome home, I was also on vacation last week, so it looks like I didn't miss many updates.

I loved the drawings, I really think it is a great thing to do at DHS. It is sometimes hard to keep up, but the "teacher" really helps to move everyone along. Most people do drawings that are very close to the actual character. My Dsis drew Mickey Mouse, and it looked like he had Mumps, it was pretty funny.:lmao:

Congratulations to Luke, Jedi Training looks like fun. Lauren looks adorable with her princess Leia hairdo. She is so cute.

Your puppy is so sweet looking, good luck with all the training ahead of you. :wizard:

So glad that you get to go on vactation so much during the summer. We are limited to the last week of June, 1st week of July due to sons summer sports schedule. I did however get to travel to the fanTASTic city of Ft Wayne, IN this last weekend for a National Basketball Tournament. (his team took 2nd place, so we were very happy)
Your puppy is sooo cute! I love puppy breath! It's the best ever. We got a Goldendoodle in Feb this year and she is the best thing ever. Potty trained to go to the door in 4 days. Is your's a Golden Retriever puppy? You will have so much fun with him. Here's a couple of pics of Disney, our puppy. Looks a lot like yours, just with curlier hair.
Enjoy your puppy!!!!:) :) :)

Here's a picture of Disney at about 8-10 weeks.

I'm so happy that I was right!!! (that was me who said that about you and Tim) I only guessed that because that's the way it is in my house. Kids get sick in the night and my DH doesn't have a clue. He says he does, but he fakes like he doesn't know. O.K. smarty, now you have to get up and help me.:lmao: :lmao:

I'm not an animal lover but I must say
your new family member "mickey" is just
adorable, he's so cute!!:dog:

Awww...Mickey Puppy is so darn cute! I LOVE puppies!

I'm glad you're able to spend so much time with your family this summer...but can't wait for another update. Your TR has been so much fun to read!

The photo of your puppy made my go "Awwwwwwwww." He is so scrumptiously cute!

Lesley and family - so sorry to hijack your thread for a minute. Before I do though - glad you all are having such a great summer. And I'm so excited for you guys to get your new puppy!

Disney is just the cutest thing ever. I have a standard poodle (black). My dream dog is a goldendoodle. I just love them. Do you mind if I ask you a couple questions? You can PM me so we don't hog the thread. About how big do you expect her to get full grown? Does she have hair more like a poodle (i.e. nonshedding) or a golden (i.e. shedding)? How is her temperment, trainability, etc.? I'm moving out of my mom's this week and the poodle is staying with her. I'm not quite settled enough yet to get a dog but goldendoodles are at the top of my list.

Sorry Lesley - thanks for letting me ramble! Looking forward to hearing about the DISmeets and the rest of your trip!

PMing you so I don't hog the thread either. That wasn't my intent Leslie. Sorry to anyone who thought otherwise.:)

mickey is so flippin cute!!!! can't wait to see pics when you guys get him. i'm sure you'll be very happy having a furbaby in your home again. :goodvibes

Hi Tim, Lesley, and fam,
