Tim Tebow

I'm hoping he will start playing well before the 4th quarter.

Actually, I saw part of the game online last night, his receivers aren't helping him much.

Tim Tebow. You look at the guy's game and think "There is no way under the sun he is supposed to sniff success in the NFL with that skill set." Then he goes out and wins... and wins... and wins.

I disagree. Tebow is getting the credit, it is the Defense that is winning these games, not Tebow

I'm not a big Tebow fan, but I have to admit that he did gain 92 yards on the 95 yard final drive last night including the 20 yard TD run. The Bronco defense gained none of that.

Broncos defense only provided 35% of the Broncos scoring output and shut the jets down like a heat sinking missile. Let us not forget that Tebows offense punted 8 straight times and had only gained 130 yards of offense up to that point.

I wont even go into what the Jets defense did that last drive. Talk about stupid.

Denvers only victories with Tebow are against teams whose best record is 5-4

The one team with a respectable record 6 - 3 hammered them.

He can win games but he is far and away worst passing QB in the NFL, I haven't seen that bad of a throwing arm since Heath Shuler.

Would the media say a word to him if he was Islamic, praising Mohammed, etc. while he played, and giving thanks??? Wonder if the media would even open their mouths for fear of being called intolerant/racist. Why is it ok to bash Tebow's praise of his God? Seems a bit hypocritical to me.

I have never seen the media bash him for his faith. In fact, Ive seen them talk about the quality of his character and how his faith is part of that.

I see it a lot. Say stuff like he goes too far with it, it's too much God talk, etc. Sports show host bash him and say he goes overboard. I listen to a lot of sports radio and they are always ragging on him and his faith. I just don't get it...who cares...just let him play football.

If he was Islamic and walking around with passages from the Quran written under his eyes and talking about the book he believed in, he would have likely been beaten up by now, told to go back to his own country, or arrested for possible links to terrorism. The hypocrisy works both ways.

Must be your local media then. Here in AZ, Ive seen nothing of that. I also listen to Mike&Mike and watch the ESPN NFL show with Boomer.

Never have I seen them knock his faith.

I don't believe in God in any form but by all acounts Tebow is a good person. I suspect that anyone claiming a hatred of Tebow has no basis for the claim. It is likely that they hate him for his faith - just like many Americans hated Muhammad Ali and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. It is much more acceptable to hate Tebow because he is white.

Reggie White (RIP) also spoke about God frequently and wasn't criticized for it, from what I remember.

I just think people misconstrue Tebow as someone who is "holier than thou", even though I don't get that impression from him.

The Denver defense did an awesome job and I agree they aren't getting enough credit. The one game they played against the 6-3 team was a game where they didn't let Tim play his style of football and the Denver defense may as well not have been there.
