We had a planning session phone call set for an hour from now and he just called me and told me he is leaving FTW and also leaving Disney for a great opportunity elsewhere.

Just fyi in case anyone else has him.

I'm being reassigned to Diane Bowen.

I got the call to. I wish him luck with his new adventures. It is upsetting though. My wedding is in 14 days and now I have a new planner! He reassures me that he has gone over everything with Diane but it still makes me nervous. It is even more then that.... you spend a year planning a wedding with someone and you get attached. I will miss him as my planner and I miss him on my wedding day.

Tammy, oh, yes, I wished him well also. He sounded excited about whatever his new thing is. Good luck with your wedding in two weeks! It will be great, DFTW knows their stuff. I know what you mean, though, about getting attached, I had the same planner the first three years, then she left FTW for another job at Disney and I still miss not having her! But we have become friends and she always comes to our VR.

Reading this thread and wondered if we should be concerned? Our WC- Doreen told me two weeks ago she had been 'reassigned' and that I should hear from someone soon. Trouble is I have not heard from anyone yet, but I was told there is some of re-org happening over there...

Oh Crap! We just got moved over to Tim, because of problems we had with our previous planner. I am happy for Tim if he is moving on to something that he looks forward to.
