Yes, Lesley, after two years of the traditional crocs, you inspired me to splurge for the fancy ones! I did the shoebuy through msn with the 20% off, and got the black/violet like you, and got a pair of blue/pearl flips, too! I could not believe that I ordered them on a Sunday night and I had them by that Thursday! I was able to wear them on a field trip and walked quite comfortably and fashionably! I would not have realized they were so cute if you hadn't posted that pic! Thanks!

Went to t-ball yesterday then to a wine festival with some friends (that was fun) and then church, Tim's mom's for lunch and more church today (typical Sunday- busy busy busy) We're back now though so have withdrawl no more

O.K. so we are now in the homestretch - 25 days and counting, I can't believe it.
I was so happy when we got this from AAA this weekend:

It had more than I realized inside. Not only our verification of our vacation at POFQ for 9 nights June 14-23rd, dining plan, 10 day hoppers, etc. but it also had these goodies:
*Luggage Tags
*voucher for a free 5x7 photo from Photo Pass (COOL!!! )
*Miniature golf voucher
*Planet Hollywood $15 meal voucher
*Sea Racer Offer (pay for 60 min. get 90 minutes - Tim and Luke did this last year and loved it so we were excited about this one)
*4 vouchers to the AAA Disney story time
*Then it also included a Diamond Card which can be used for a ton of discounts at Downtown Disney shops, on Disney tours, and recreation, etc. My favorite part of it that we'll use if it is good for 10% discount at the World of Disney Store (my favorite) in Downtown Disney on purchases over $50 or more - honestly what purchases here for us won't be over 50? For those of you interested in what else it can be used for there is a long list but some highlights are 15% off a lot of dining locations in Downtown Disney including Earl of Sandwich, Yacht Club, Planet Hollywood, Bongo's, etc. 20% off Cabana Bar and Grill at Dolphin resort, 20% off All Star Cafe in the World of Sports Complex, Fulton's Crab House, etc.
Also 10% off watercraft excursions, 15% off 18 hole golf, Sea Racer rentals, 20% off Richard Petty Driving Experience (I saw others planning to do this for Dh's fathers day gifts, so heads up on this) 10-15% off spa services on site too. and 15% off tours, Pretty cool huh??
*Also had a AAA diamond parking card good for preferred parking spaces at the parks in Magic Kingdom, I've heard from others who drive that this is pretty cool, we won't be taking advantage though b/c we'll only be using resort transportation.
So anyway, onto the purchases:

Our lovely model Tim is holding our new disney mugs (I'll explain) and our new Tiki Mickey and Minnie shirts - I just love these!!!
O.K., about the mugs - I know there is A LOT OF DEBATE here on the Disboards about using refillable mugs again, etc. etc, personally I do it, I admit it and I REALLY REALLY REALLY ( I BEG OF YOU ) do not want to start a debate about this. We've stayed at WL two years in a row and used our mugs again the second year to save some money. This year I heard they have the new 2007 Year of a Million Dreams mugs and a friend of ours who went on Spring Break gave us their mug and I still wanted a few more. I found 2 on Ebay for 15.00 total with Shipping, they arrived this week. I figure Disney gets about 3,000-4,000 from us every year, one mug is not hurting their profits any and having these 3 mugs going into the trip saves me about 35 bucks going in, I'll take that.
I also went to the bank this week and got our travelers checks so we are ready to go with spending money.
I've started to check things off slowly to our packing list as I pick things up here and there at the store. I also keep adding things to the list. I want to firm up our daily itineraries this week too.
Well, hope you enjoyed the update and the pics, I'm off to get some University of Phoenix work done. Luke's last week of school is this week, we go until June 12th so I am VERY jealous. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I love the shirts. I have a question about the mugs. I have heard about people reusing them year after year, and I along with you and all of the many, many others out there planned to reuse my mugs from Pop Century, But you said about new ones with the year of a million dreams, did they replace all of the mugs? will mine be useless now? Do I need to purchase new ones when I go in Dec? I don't mind buying new ones at all, I just don't want to pack the old ones if that's the case.

Just wanted to let you know i just booked my next trip and we're staying at the WL! All because of you!! If i hadn't read your TR last year, i wouldnt have had the desire to go there for dinner my last trip, therefore wouldn't have even thought about wanting to stay there! I was blown away by the lobby when i went to WCC, and now i just keep going back to your TR from last year to get a glimpse of the rooms!

Your last one is prob one of my very favorites I've read on here, and your family is so beautiful! We are planning our honeymoon for December, and I'm HOPING somehow we can pull off WL, my mom has talked about helping us out w/the room, otherwise it will be POR, which is nice too. We took a last minute 4 day trip last weekend and went by WL (we were staying at Ft Wilderness) to show my DF, and he fell in love with it too.

There is nothing wrong with saving some money, besides then you can spend it on something else so Disney really isnt losing anything! Very cute shirts too, are those from the Disney Store? They have some many cute Tiki/Hawaiian style things right now at the Disney Store, but I don't remember seeing those shirts. Great update, as usual! We are almost there!!!!!

Don't know if you know this but if you have a Disney Visa you can get 10% off $25 pre-tax at the World of Disney, you just have to mention it. I used this discount on our trip. Also, with the free 5x7 photopass picture you have to pick it out before you leave WDW you cannot get it once you get home, like to order it off the internet or something! I'm sure you already knew that being the guru that you are but just thought I'd give you a heads up!
