Sorry to hijack, Lesley. But we had an ADR at Kona at 7:20 on our last night. After dinner (which takes longer than you think) we walked down to the beach with the kids, watched the electric boat parade, and then watched Wishes. It was the perfect ending. Even if you are a little early, the kids will love playing in the sand and it is very pleasant and relaxing on the beach for everyone.

We have a reservation for Ohana on Sept 22nd at 8:20, I am going to ask for a window seat if possible. Do they pipe in the music and can you see the fireworks even from the tables??

Sorry to intrude here...but we have a ressie on the same night at 6:55. I'm gonna try to get it early. I didn't know they did the fireworks thing.

I just found out i'm going to disney in september and we're staying at.....french quarter!! I Am super excited to stay here because out of all the moderates its my favorite, so i cant wait to see your thoughts when you come back!!

I don't think so but I could be wrong, as the breakfast is a all you care to eat in a skillet. They have Mickey Waffles, Sausage, Eggs, Potatoes, Fruit Salad, and some yummy breads. Of course I guess you could always ask. We really liked Ohana's Breakfast as well and found that when we had a late ADR time we had WONDERFUL character interaction as we were one of the only parties in the place. Loads of fun!

It was another set of documents and luggage tags since I made one final change after my documents already printed. (cancelling that room only ressie for the last night and adding it to the package instead).

Hey Lesley got a question for you (sorry to hijack your TR) i have AAA and wanted to use them for the discount they offer but i'm concerned with booking with them versus booking with Disney. You haven't run into trouble have you? Do you still get all the documentation from Disney that you usually would?

Hey Nicole, they've actually been really great, look to my next post today about the details of what came with the package. I would use them again next trip definitely!

So. . . . .I was looking at Tourguidemike forums today and saw tons of people who had gotten their package packet info from Disney this week who were leaving a week after me. So I decided to pick up the phone and call AAA. They said they had it for me today YIPEE!!! So. . . .Tim dropped us off at the t-ball game and he ran over to the AAA office to grab the envelope and met us at the game.
I will post pic's of the contents later (Tim's uploading DVD's to this computer right now so I can't mess with the plug in's). Lots of AAA goodies came with it that I will post with the photos. The only bummer was I had given our AAA agent our flight info but with our Magical Express packet it said "no flight information received". No huge deal though, I called the number listed and now Magical Express has our flight info. The only other thing that bothered me a bit was the date on the Magical Express stuff was May 3rd, now come on, today is the 19th - why did I have to call and hunt it down? Oh well, I guess I'm just a Disney control freak - deep breaths Lesley : )
I'm just so happy to have it in my hands. I have the luggage tags, ME tags and packet, our package info and all of the AAA vouchers (I'll list in detail later) too, COOL COOL COOL!!!!! It seems so close now, I am SOOOOO excited!
Tim picked us up new shirts this week at the Disney store - both the Tiki ones, his is a yellowish/tan with Mickey and mine is pink with Minnie, both really cute! I'll have to post pic's of those too.
Well, gotta run, we're going with friends to a local food and wine festival tonight, should be fun. I'll post pic's later, just had to share my excitement with each of you!

Lesley, I liked your Crocs so much, that I showed them to my DH last night to get his opinion. He agreed they would be great for me. I went searching for the Dick's coupon and guess what, yesterday was the last day to use it. So after my babies went to bed I went shopping and came home with my own pair of Cleo Crocs. I decided on the brown ones with a baby pink insole. I'm wearing them now. I can't wait to hear from you how comfy they are at Disney. Thanks!
