My DH was reading over my shoulder and when we came to your packing list, I shouted, "Ha! I'm not the only one! There are hundreds of Disney-Nuts just like me!", to which he replied that we should all be committed to the same nuthouse.

It gave me a great idea for you and Tim....(and me, too!)

We persuade Disney to create an extention of the DVC; call it the DRC: Disney Retirement Club!!

A Retirement Villiage just for us aging DISers...right on property!!!

WOW--What an awesome pre-trip report...and I've only gotten through the first 6 pages...I'll catch up soon!!! I think I've finally been inspired to start my own pretrippie...I've been on the outside, looking in at the DISboards for quite some time now and I think I'm finally ready to join the DIS addicts (all of a sudden, I'm starting to enjoy lime green...and it's midnight! ) Looking forward to more of your pre-tirp planning! Hey...Webkinz my dd just got one of those for Easter from her Nana. She got the unicorn. I'm not really sure what all it's supose to do...but she seemed to keep busy with it on her Mickey Computer for hours this past week.

Isn't the unicorn retiring now? Good find!!!

I'm pretty new to the Dis, and your TR from last year was the first one I read! It took me two days to read it all, but I was immediately addicted! Then, I saw that you had this pre-trip report...now, I'm addicted again! Just wanted to subscribe and tell you how much I've enjoyed reading it!
My DH and I are taking our 2-year-old DD (well, she'll be 3 then) to WDW in December for her first trip. I can't wait to see what all Lauren does and enjoys on your upcoming trip, so that I can get some ideas for my DD, Reagan! Thanks for sharing everything w/ us!

I'm all caught up now! What a fabulous report...I'm going to go and check out your other Trip Report as well. I think I'll have to sign up for TGM...we are already signed up at UG, but I'd really like to make sure I have all of my ducks in a row since this is a first trip for our fam! I'm a little nervous about making our ADR's on Friday, so if I double check everything (Park choices/Dining/Timing) with UG and TGM, maybe I'll feel better about it! I'm a planning nut myself, and my DH thinks it is very amusing that I'm so obsessed! Hopefully, it won't be long before I get him hooked on the DISboards as well! Oh...and I absolutely love the countdown calendar that Tim made, is there any way I could get a copy of it??? My kiddos would absolutely adore doing a countdown...even though we are still 180+days out Thanks again!

Wow what a score for Nana! The unicorn just got retired, so they are going to be really hard to find now. Just sign her up on the Webkinz website with the number that is in the little plastic sleeve on the unicorn, and then start playing. Remember to keep that piece of paper though. You will need it if you ever forget your username or password.

Hi, so glad you returned to find me and that you enjoyed the report last year. I still read it and remember those memories from last year, that is one of the great things about writing them, you have them for yourself to remember as well. I am excited for you taking your 2 year old DD in December, hope you get some great ideas from us.

YEAH!!! Glad you are caught up, that is a lot of reading, this thing took off quick Wow, TGM and UG you will be all set! Good luck with your ADR's on Friday, you will do great. I understand the obsession, it's so funny. Tim didn't start looking at the Dis much or posting at all until I started the pre trip report this year, now it is so funny. . .when we return home we both do a mad dash for the computer to see if anyone has posted YES!!! I finally have him hooked - it took long enough

yay! i'm officially on board. i haven't had time to read everything yet, but i promise i'll catch up next week. i'm in the middle of the biggest trial i've ever sat through (i'm a court reporter) so DISing hasn't been a huge passtime the past couple of weeks! anyway, i can't wait for more!

Oooh...I don't know. Her Nana (my mom) said it was the only thing they had in stock when she placed the order...so she took what she could get.

BTW...if anyones intrested...when my mom was placing the order it was with whom ever makes Webkinz...she's trying to become an offical dealer so soon she may have a store full of them. Anywho...anyone looking for something in particular I'm sure she'd do what she could to get it to you. There real new up here in Washington...so I'm not sure how available they are everywhere else. For all I know you can find them all over the place (anywhere but here that is).

I think you should print it out and put it on the counter and tell him it is his "honey do list" for the day . VWL is very nice, my parents stayed there last summer when they flew down to surprise me for my b-day.

Just thought I'd check in & say hello. I want your trip to hurry up & get here so that I can hear (read) all about it and see all the pictures. I'm going to spend the next few months reading your TR since I don't get to go until Sept.
I'm seriously thinking about starting my own pre-TR since it seems like half the fun of the trip, but not sure where to start considering I'm 5 months out...so I'll wait awhile still

For all of you who are checking this out after reading Blaynes that ended. I encourage you to first find my original TR from last year (the bottom one on my siggy from June 2006) it is finished and has a TON of pictures, I think you will find it a good read.
Then hurry back and get caught up on this now very lengthy Pre TR because I only have 57 days left!!!!

Hi Lesley! I can't find the star wars parade times, and was reading where you talking about the parade at 11:15, can you tell me where i can find a list of times? Also just wanted to tell you that we switched our ressie to POFQ from the CSR! We love POFQ! I had to give up my AAA discount which was $200 and had to pay extra for a water view, but it is worth it!
