Tikka beach excursion

Hey

I was going to do the tikki beach excursion

I can see it's $45

Can someone me if they think that price is good or if I done it on my own how much would it normally cost for what your getting

E.g transport, sun beds, 1 drink etc

Just wondering if there is much of a difference in price doing it without dcl

We have taken the public bus in Grand Cayman to the Public Beach. I googled Tiki Beach and it is right beside the Public Beach. The bus costs $2.50 usd per person one way. When you get off the tender boat ask someone on the dock where to catch the bus, it is less than a block away. The public beach has washrooms and showers and you can rent loungers and umbrellas. I believe we paid $10 for 2 loungers. To get back to the pier, walk back to the main road where you were dropped off (less than 1/2 a block) and wait for a bus to come along - usually within 5 minutes. They will honk their horn to get your attention, just give them a wave and they will stop for you.

If you want to go to a different beach or resort, just let the driver know, or ask them their opinion for where to go - we have done that as well. Grand Cayman is very safe and as long as you leave enough time to get back for the last tender boat, you really don't need to pay the high prices for a Disney excursion.
