CHAPTER 5: MGM. Oh, DHS

We woke up and started getting ready. There are no chairs by the sinks, so I improvised. I used a luggage rack.

After doing my hair, though, we all got attacked by the French Braid Monster.

We had granola bars in the room for breakfast and headed to the bus stop. We got to DHS before the gates were open. There were long lines already. We ended up finding a fairly short one. Our plan was to get through the gates, I would take all of our tickets, and Id get in front to get FP for Toy Story Mania while they got in the standby line. I got their tickets and took off, thinking that when I got to the rope, there would be a lot of people between me and them. Well, I got yelled at for running AND they caught up to me. All that effort for nothing.
Well, after the show they put on, the rope dropped and I managed to stay up front by the cast members the whole time. When I got to the FP machines, I nearly got trampled. It was like the stores opening on Black Friday. But I got them!
So we were able to ride Toy Story Mania. This was my first time riding it, too. It was really cool. I was looking forward to see the giant Mr. Potatohead. However, he wasnt there. There was a large curtain in front of him.

I know we rode it more than once, I just dont know when. I think the second time my mom wasnt with us. Taryn and I were on one side, and Michelle was on the other with a single rider. After we sat down, there was a single rider in the car across from us. I told Taryn we should start a fight with him. So we started shooting our guns at him. Well, he saw and started shooting back. Good thing he was a good sport.
So after that, we split up and the three of us rode TOT [Taryns first time]. Since I had the birthday gear on, the cast member working in the hotel said, Happy Birthday. Its the last birthday youll ever have. It was kind of creepy.
We tried to go on Rock n Roller Coaster, but it kept closing down.
We went through the shops on the way back down the street. We had reservations at the Prime Time at 11, when it opens. We got there a few minutes early, so I checked us in and we sat down.

So anyway, we went on more rides. We were waiting for about 10 minutes in the line for Rock n Roller Coaster when the people in front of us started to tell everyone to turn around because it broke down again. I was beginning to think Taryn would never ride it.
So we were wandering around, shopping, meeting characters.
