Chapter One: IM SO TIRED!!
Tuesday, Dec. 2nd
Im so glad we left later in the day. I wasnt done packing until then.
I told my friends to be at my house by 4 oclock, and of course, a little after four, they both showed up within a few minutes of each other. My mom went to drive her car to my uncles house. While she was gone, I gave Michelle and Taryn their goodie bags which had a coloring book, a body wash, a small brush, a washcloth, the personalized keychains and a few other things in them.
When my mom got back with my uncle, we dragged all of the suitcases [which mine was somehow the heaviest at 44 pounds
] down the stairs, through the snowy grass, and into the trunk of his car. Then we were off
..to be delayed at the airport.
When we got there, we went through security. Michelle basically had to strip because she was wearing so much extra stuff. After we got through, we started walking down concourse A. We finally reached the moving walkways. Since Taryn hadnt been on a plane since she was too young to remember, she loved the walkways. I told her that was the first ride of our trip.

So after we were sitting there for a while, I got hungry. My mom and I went looking for food. We ended up getting tuna sandwiches from a place called Mannys. They were okay. However, my mom, halfway through her sandwich, drops it between the seats of the bench.
So much for finishing that.
To help pass the time, I brought a few travel games. Taryn and Michelle were playing Guess Who? when my mom and I went to get our food. I had also brought a little Yatzee game. We ended up sitting on the floor playing. Even Jack and Jack got involved.

Stan was too busy sleeping in Taryns boot.
We were finally able to board the plane. My friends and I were in row 15 and my mom was in row 11.

Oh! There she is!
The flight was pretty boring. We started out coloring in the books I had gotten us, then Michelle was reading, Taryn was trying to sleep, and I was doing Sudoku and drinking Ginger Ale. However, we all had our iPods on.
By the time Taryn was able to get a little sleep, it was time to land.
The first thing we did when we got off the plane was, of course, hit the bathroom. [You know how my mother is! But I had to go too too much Ginger Ale.] We went to get our luggage. I guess no one else on the plane had any though because we were the only ones who were at the luggage claim. Right when we walked over to it, out came all four of our bags. It was like they knew we were there.
After that, we checked in with Magical Express and they put us on the first bus available, which happened to be sitting there. On the bus ride to the hotel, I was sitting next to Taryn and my mom and Michelle were in the row behind us. Taryn was falling asleep, and the rest of us werent far behind.
We finally made it there!
But by the time we got to the hotel and checked in, it was about midnight. Naturally, we were in one of the farthest buildings [Country Fair] and the walk there seemed endless.
When we got to the hotel room, we all got ready for bed. Thinking ahead, I wore my pajamas on the plane so I wouldnt waste time changing. Once we were all laying down, my mom turned the lights off. We were all silent for a minute, and I said. Its way too quiet in here! My mom sighed and turned the light on. Michelle and I got up to get our iPods. Then we finally fell asleep around one oclock, only to wake up at about 6:30.
