TigerCheer2009's Lose 30 and Not Gain It Back Plan! (Add comments please!! Welcome!)

Thanks, Desiree! You have a good day, too! Want some chicken fingers? :banana:

What a great summer job to have! It's wonderful to inspire kids to read more summer reading programs were always so much fun!

Those chicken fingers sound good! Good idea to put them on a salad!

Hi all!

Shauna-That is the best summer job!!! :) Lots of fun. Preschool is the best age but they do so much running, as in "I need a drink" "I need to go potty" Typical littlie behavior, but I'll sure get my exercise then!!

L: Tomato soup (2 mugs), baked potato Total: (5)

Exercise: I will probably do my Construction Zone Workout music workout and 5 day abs. I'm really not feeling like moving. The sick feeling has come back! I just want to wait until everybody leaves the house. Much quieter then so I can sing and scream and run around like a total nutjob! "We're building character with Jesus, we're building character inside, we're under construction at the mo-MENT! Trying to improve our hearts and minds! We're building character with Jesus, cause that will honor God! So pardon the dirt, we'll continue our work, on our c-h-a-r-a-c-t-e-r!

Water: 24 ounces

How can I make today a healthier living day? Exercise! I can do this, I can do this, I'm gonna do it! I also want more water, more fruits and vegetables because I am neglecting my body when it says that. I can't do that anymore!

Jen, you're AWESOME!!
Wendy's Chicken fingers are YUMMY. My DS18 used to work there and he'd bring home some that were nearing their expiration.

I LOVE VBS music! I still sing the stuff from when my kids were smaller. Always very catchy tunes & words.

I'm trying to find a couple of new Christian CD's for DD for the train ..... any suggestions? She tends to like females - SuperChick, Barlow Girl, Avril Lavigne(not Christian, but..). She also likes Green Day. I always hate just buying CD's, and since I tend to lean toward Classical, jazz and groups like FFH, I'm not much good at choosing.

Have a great day. Go run wild! It's fun!!

Hi Jules!!! Thanks for popping by! VBS music is awesome. I would have loved to do Ramblin Road Trip, but we chose Construction Zone. I even make up little baggies to give to the kids at the end of VBS. I found little construction bubbles (I requested 1st and 2nd Graders this year) and lanyards like the construction people wear to identify themselves as part of our Site.

I like Sarah Kelly, Joy Williams, Relient K, a little bit of Simple Plan, a little bit of Good Charlotte (everything in moderation, you know) movie songs (like Pirates of the Caribbean "The Medallion" and "He's A Pirate", and Chicago "Cell Block Tango"), Superchick and Barlow Girl. You can also make your own cd with all sorts of different songs on walmart.music if you have a CD burner. You're gonna have fun no matter what you choose!

I dared to go up town and buy some paper bags to try out a Bible School craft in my jammies. It's fun! I could live like this every day. Jammies are the comfort food of clothes!! :love: :banana:

I like the 'fingers too. They are deelish!

Have an awesome day!

Ham sandwich and cheese for snack (5)

Dinner will be a chicken finger salad. (7)

Exercise: 5 minutes grooving/calisthetics to Construction Zone's "I Choose the High Road" and "C-h-a-r-a-c-t-e-r!" 18 minutes for the stroll up town!

/
snack: homemade salsa (0), chips (1.5 for 6 stalies)
dinner: chicken finger salad (7), milk (2)

You are tempting me so much with that chicken finger salad......it sounds simply delicious!!!

It's funny how we live through the food in others journals, lol.

Anyway, have a great FRIDAY........which I guess is just another summer vacation day for you!

Well, we are all out of chicken fingers now! :sad: I need to go to the grocery store because you can't make lasagna without sauce, cheeses, noodles or meat. Unless it's imaginary!

It's funny too because I want a gel cuppie with fruit and jello in it! Let's switch journals, 'kay? You have some of the leftover chicken finger salad and I get a gel cuppie! (Who makes those anyway? I want one! Just PM a gel cuppie to me and all will be right in the world.)

Gel cups.....hmmmm..... I think Dole.

Wish I could Zap you one! I have a cupboard full and no one here will eat them.

Hope you have an AWESOME Friday!

Any great fun plans for the weekend? I'm gonna pack. DS15 is gonna work & play paintball in the Bosque with the guys from the gym. DH will watch TV and DD will likely hang out w/ friends.

Can I have some lasagna, please? Sounds YUMMY!!

My kids are getting ready for DVBS and singing the songs at church to get ready. It is some kind of a safari theme I think this year. The songs and the actions are like doing aerobics! ;)

How funny it is to read this........I had the chicken finger salad for lunch!! You did this to me!

Here......I am granting you one cherry and mixed fruit - fruit and gel cup :wizard: Poof.

ENJOY!

Jules: Hi!! They (the gel cuppies) are on my abnormally large grocery list! Poofing some lasagna your way (both regular and Taco Lasagna). :wizard:

Calena: The safari theme is very popular this year. Stuff is naturally easier to find (ie Oriental Trading, birthday parties) than construction stuff. And I think the Ohio Dept. Of Transportation (ODOT) would have a problem with me sneaking away with some orange barrels and construction cones. I do VBS because I love participating with the kids. I play the games, I sing the songs, so, yeah, it is a kind of workout. Last year, the theme song was Power UP and the theme was getting in shape/exercise to do God's will. Lots of activity!!!

Amanda: Yes, I did. I can admit it. Those gel cuppies are yummy. MMMM Good! Any other flavor recommendations beside Cherry and Mixed Fruit?

Okay y'all:
B: 3 cups cereal (6)
L is where I think I'm gonna get off track today :guilty: Since there is not much food in the house, I'm stuck with 1/2 a corndog (2.5), plus a cup of macaroni and cheese (10) Plus that imaginary gel cuppie.

Exercise: Biking to the library. They have 0 exercise DVD's, only tapes. That's okay. I have to have parental consent to take out any AV materials, though. Poo. 10 minutes each way. I should practice my show music for marching band (first show: I Wanna Rock and Roll All Night, We Will Rock You and Bohemian Rhapsody) I have until the last week of July to have each song memorized, but I'm going to exercise some more.

How do I feel today? Very screwed up and backwards. To name an emotion (to make the problem go away, one must find the root of the problem to exterminate it), I'd have to say frustrated/exasperated. I usually go out to lunch with my dad and grandpa, but we can't right now due to circumstances beyond my control. I feel frustrated because I miss being around people, and all of my friends (one's in TN, one's in PA, softball practices, one babysits all day everyday, there's people who live in the country, etc.) are busy with other plans. This wouldn't be so bad if my dad didn't spend all day at the hospital, every day. (12 noon to whenever he leaves, usually 8 or 9) I know he does this for the sake of his father and because the doctors sometimes are at a loss (he might have to go under the knife again because the Pacemaker makes grampa's diaphram move when the PM shocks the heart), but us people here on the homefront are getting kind of shafted. This is a very long rant, you guys and I apologize, but I need people to talk to.

Good news? I'm only eating when I'm hungry and am avoiding the Boredom Binge. I am doing everything in my power to keep away from the kitchen when I am bored. I have crayons, play doh, movies and GUM.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks for being here for me, you guys. You don't know how much you are appreciated right now at this frustrating stage of summer.
Hey Girly! Hang in there, it will get better! Good job not doing the bordom binge thing. You have more will power than me! I do have a "bracelet" that Ben gave me (it's acutally a piece of a broken plastic lei, but what ever, I'll take what I can get) and hopefully I can look at that whenever I feel the binge monster approaching!
Stay strong! :grouphug:
Thanks, Twinks. The hugz make me feel better. :goodvibes Thank you. How was your stay last night at the HTH? Did you enjoy your...um...sweets? ;) Having a better day now that my friendz are here!
Dinner: 1/2 cup baked rigatoni (2), 2 slices gahlic bread (4), 1 glass milk (2) and 4 Breyers Fruit Pops (2).
Those Breyers Fruit Pops or whatever they are are DEEEEEEELISH! 1/2 point a piece; they come in strawberry, orange, raspberry and my fave, tropical. They're like popsicles. I can have my ice pops and eat them too!!! :) They're sweetened with Splenda. Yum City!!!!
Exercise: 15 minutes of assorted calisthetics.
Me time today: Watched Mona Lisa Smile all the way through and took a nice and relaxing bubble bath!
15 more minutes of exercise. Added to the repetoire: wall push ups! Regular: situps, push ups, oblique crunches, stretching, double crunches, jumping jacks among other things.
Cheerleading accomplishments: When I started out this lifestyle change, I could barely do the splits. Now I can go all the way down. I can also do a heel stretch with one leg only (not 2). A heel stretch is when you grab the arch of your foot with your fingers (palms topside) and lift your leg beside your head!!! YAHH!! Finally. Now I'm working on a backbend.
Am off for a tropical pop. .5 (25 cals to all y'all calorie counters) points. 7 over, that's okay!
I have some wonderful NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I lost another pound, making my total 15!!!!!!! Wahoo!!!!
Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah! Gotta go update my clippie.
And-I have double decker graduations today-I apologize if it's really late for my next post.
:cool1: :flower: :banana: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :dancer: :thewave:
AWESOME NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
