After watching the interviews since his "comeback", I'm convinced he's more self-absorbed than ever. Quit giving these mopey interviews and give your fellow golfers a little credit.

Why the fuss? was the man supposed to be celebate until married? The reason people where cheering him was because he is a good golf player they just don't care about his personal life. Did people cheer JFK because he also was a serial cheater.

And Clinton. And most rock singers. And many actors. How many times have most hollywood actors or actresses cheated or been divorced and remarried and divorced and remarried... The great and mighty Tom Brady has an illegitimate child. Some NBA players often have dozens.

Tiger has issues. We all have issues. His are just more public than yours because of who he is.

He is still a great golfer, one of the greatest of all time, and in spite of playing "poorly" for his standards he still had a chance to win the toughest golf tournament in the world at one of its hardest courses. That's how good he is. That's why people cheer for him - his greatness on the golf course, not his reprehensible behaviour off of it.

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." If any of you are perfect and have never done anything bad, feel free to throw something at Tiger. If not...

and then there's Woody Allen....scumbag if ever there was one and actors/actresses trip over themselves to work with him. Here is a group of people who could really have made a statement to him about his behavior and choose not to. Why? Because they want $$$.

This is how I feel. I don't care about golf so I don't really care about Tiger but the athletes or celebrities I do follow I care only about their professional life not what they do on their own time. Outside of being a murderer or child molester once an athlete I care about is off the field or actor/actress I like is away from the camera they can do what ever they want as far as I'm concerned. I completely separate their personal and professional lives and don't care one iota about the former. I wish all of these gossip sites would just curl up and die.

I agree that people are cheering for him because of the golf and personally that's all that I think that people should even think about. I never understand the preoccupation with celebrities' private lives from some.
