I thought Tiger's apology was heartfelt. I actually felt sorry for him (not that it fully excuses what he has done). I hope he can regain what he has lost.
Who knows and I really don't care. He did nothing to me that he needs to be forgiven for, it's his wife who needs to decide whether or not he is sincere.
I think he is sincerly sorry at this moment in time. What he does in the future remains to be seen. Like he said, the real proof is not what he says today, but how he lives his life from here on out.
My heart goes out to his wife. I can't begin to imagine how difficult this is for her. I sincerely hope the media leaves her alone.
I do wish he would do whatever he needs to do and then play golf again as soon as possible. I follow professional golf and miss him on the tour.

Watching him up there reading from the pages, more than a few times I said, out loud, speak from your heart not the damn paper! My answer is no. Thats just my opinion.
His mother never looked him in the eye the entire time he was speaking. Just an observation.
Other - Don't really care, it's a personal issue, I don't follow the whole star struck crowd mentality. Do you see Average Joe getting up and giving a press release, no.

My husband kept saying that his mother never looked him in the eye also. I think it's because her husband also cheated on her and when she looks at Tiger she sees him.
I think it was a well written rehersed, 'OMG' I've got to do damage control speech. I took it for what it was and I'm skeptical at this time just how much of what he says is what he truely feels is his 'fault'.
But, I'm sure he is sorry to some extent and I'm willing to give him time to show by his ACTIONS whether or not he intends to be a better man.
I think he feels bad that he got caught and it's all over the media, but if he's sincere about the apology who knows, the person who would have to decide would be his wife. But me personally I would not take him back, once a cheater always a cheater.
